Re: QOTD February 7th
I've been a junior bridesmaid once, a bridesmaid once, and a MOH once. Fortunately, I've always worn dresses I really liked. No bridezillas!

Re: QOTD February 7th
I have been a bridesmaid 3 times, and each time the dress was ok, but not something I would ever wear again because of the colors {ie. yellow, pink, green]. Not that these are bad colors but they are just not my style.
I think that this somewhat effected my decision on my BM Dress, which is why I went with black halter dresses.

I've been a bridesmaid once.....loved the dress, its just not something you can wear again unless i was going to a gala or something. It somewhat effects my decision, but more so my MOH and 1 BM have been in several weddings and I'm the last one they'll probobly be in and I just dont want them to spend money on another dress that'll stay in the back of their closet. So i'm going with black, and i'll accent it with colored shoes and jewelry.....although I do want it to be a fancy black dress, not just a regular strapless or tank style.....something really glamorous.

Re: QOTD February 7th
i've been a BM twice, and oddly both dresses were nearly identical (lavender chiffon). one of my friends spent several months trying to coerce the bridal party into teal taffeta w/ a black lace overlay on the bodice (if you can picture that). in light of that experience, i am trying to be sensitive, but the quest for a dress that's not so obviously bridesmaid-y has failed miserably.
i've still got time, and i haven't given up!

Re: QOTD February 7th
I have been a BM many times.. and that definitely made me think long and hard about the dresses i would pick! There were a few times i was in a dress that made me feel really uncomfy and was soo not flattering.. and I had to spend all this money on it... so I definitely am trying to think about that as we look!

Re: QOTD February 7th
I've never been a bridesmaid, but I was careful not to pick something out that looked like it belonged at a prom, and all us girls were really honest with each other and I think we all came to a good decision together.

I have been a BM/MOH 4 times...althought it feels like 27, hehe. I have to say all the dresses I had to wear were good. But I think it is nice when the bride lets the BM's have some input. I am going to go with my sister/MOH first and we'll choose a few dresses and then go with all the girls to make the final choice.

Who has been a bridesmaid? Has being a bridesmaid previously affected the choice of your bm dresses?
I was a bridemaid three times. All three dresses were ok with the exception of the color. For my wedding, I am selecting black dresses- they are elegant and classy and will look good on everyone. I am having my girls vote on the dresses.

I have been a bridesmaids twice and I am in three weddings this year. I have also been a flower girl twice.
I don't believe being a bridesmaids has affected by choice. I mean they most likely won't be able to use the dress again that I pick, but I don't know yet.

I was a bridesmaid once, n i loved my dress. I looked so pretty and thin. It def influenced my choice in pickin a dress because i want the girls 2 feel as good in the dresses as i did!

Re: QOTD February 7th
Never been a bridesmaid before but I want to be at least budget and body conscious for my girls.. I think it would only be fair since they'll be paying for the dresses themselves

I've never been a bridesmaid but I plan to choose dresses that can be worn again. Because I would hate for the girls to buy their dress and only use it once.

I've never been a Bridesmaid. I knew that I wanted something that wasn't going to look dated in my wedding pics 10 years from now and, something that all of my girls liked and that they were comfortable in. The dresses I picked are classic and very flattering.

Re: QOTD February 7th
I have only been a bridesmaid a couple of times and I have to say there there dresses were pretty nice. One I might even be able to cut down. We'll see.
I really tried to get my girls a dress that would be flattering to everyone. I think I did
