How is your relationship with FH's friends??
I get along great with all but 1 of FH's friends. They all watched me be at his bedside during his days in the hospital and everyday following really.... except there is one guy...... FH and I were talking about him last night and FH was even considering having him in the BP, we are short one guy so no biggie. I have mixed feelings though. He can be so rude to me at times. He thinks I know he thinks I am controlling and I am really not, FH has some risidual problems due to his car accident (ie gets seizures and has to take medicine) so he shouldn't drink to much on those. His friend is always pushing him to do whatever, drink whatever (in large amounts) and acts as if I am controlling FH, and FH will be fine. We met them way after FH's accident so maybe he doesnt get the extent of it. It really annoys me though. I in no way want to be FH's mommy, but I also want to protect him. Yea just decided he isn't in the BP... Wow that QOTD turned into a little vent sorry everyone.....

I get along with his friends from college really well. His BF and I get along great, and we all have so much fun together! His friends from college are all so much fun, and his female friends have all adopted me (FH thinks they like me more then him now LOL). There is one of his childhood friends though (female friend that he grew up with) that I absolutely cannot stand. The reason why, is that when we first started dating, she didn't respect our relationship....like at all. Maybe it stemmed a bit from jealousy? I have no clue. All I know is that I don't trust the girl. FH knows this (and of course he doesnt see any of it - because he is a guy), but he knows that she is not one of my favorite people, so therefore I don't see her too much....thank god... My FMIL even sees it - the whole issue with the old friend... I just try to avoid drama!

They don't really come around much any more and I LOVE it that way.

i get along great with all his friends expect one. his has this girlfriend, and she is very jealous. i think she like my fh and she gets very nasty when we r around her. she needs to sit next to him and she follows him when she is in his house. and i asked fh y she is like that and he says he don't know. im trying to tell fh i don't want her invited at the wedding but he says they r friends for sooo long. so we will have to see what happens.

the friends that we have on LI, are both of our friends, but we both went away to college, so the friends of his that i met from there, i get along with, his best friend from college is the BM and we went to visit him over the summer in Pittsburgh and we had a great time.

I like all his friends too, we've been together for 7 years and pretty much all his friends besides a few went to the same high school, so I know them well.

I really like all of FH's friends. We actually have an ongoing joke with them that I'm 'secretly' having affairs with all of them.
Shauna that's ridic - making sure Matt is safe should definitely be top priority and I'd be acting the same way as you. Sounds like his friend is immature and just doesn't get it. Stick to your guns - I know you will!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least you have the rest of his friends on your side. That definitely helps.
