QOTD for Satuday 3/7

Happy Weekend everyone!!!

Hope everyone has a great one.

So your QOTD for Saturday the Seventh of March is......

How is your relationship with FH's friends??

I get along great with all but 1 of FH's friends. They all watched me be at his bedside during his days in the hospital and everyday following really.... except there is one guy...... FH and I were talking about him last night and FH was even considering having him in the BP, we are short one guy so no biggie. I have mixed feelings though. He can be so rude to me at times. He thinks I know he thinks I am controlling and I am really not, FH has some risidual problems due to his car accident (ie gets seizures and has to take medicine) so he shouldn't drink to much on those. His friend is always pushing him to do whatever, drink whatever (in large amounts) and acts as if I am controlling FH, and FH will be fine. We met them way after FH's accident so maybe he doesnt get the extent of it. It really annoys me though. I in no way want to be FH's mommy, but I also want to protect him. Yea just decided he isn't in the BP... Wow that QOTD turned into a little vent sorry everyone.....

I get along great with them, since we have been together for almost 8 years they are now my friends, FH and I don't really have his friends and my friends anymore. But his 'orginal' friends are amazing and always made me feel welcome!

Fh's friends are awesome. all his friends are married except for one who lives in FL. One couple has a baby, another other couple is pregnant. My friends are still partying alot, no one is engaged and FH and I live together and are getting married. we are in the same place with his friends which is awesome. They have become some of my best friends over the past 2.5 years.

There are a few of FH friends that i am civil to but i dont really like. But most of his friends are amazing. His best friend though lives in VA now so we dont get to hang out with him and his family very often.

Majority of our friends are both of our friends, so I get along wonderfully with them!!! The few friends that he has through work/soccer I get along with fine, they are all older than I am so I always maintain my respect towards them...

FH moved here from FL shortly (about a year) before we met... so my friends are his friends, and I think they're wonderful! Haha.

Actually, he's not thrilled with some of my friends, but he is always very nice, and will go out with us every once in while, or I just go by myself... no issues there.

He come from upstate ny so his childhood friends i've only met once or twice but we get along. We moved to PA and his friends are my friends and now since we live close to where I grew up my childhood friends are his good friends as well...

I kinda lucked out b/c (shhh don't tell him) all though I get a long w/ his childhood friends, i'm not to fond of them...
but i do feel bad that he doesn't see them.

i get along great with all his friends. all the college friends are our normal group of friends that we hang out with all the time. i also get along well with his friends from home/high school. all my friends love fh too.

well.... lol

For the most part... it's good.

It's kinda hard though cuz they've all been friends for like 10+ years so when someone new joins the group it seems like it's a little hard for them to acknowledge that. They seem to be very clicky which is totally not my thing but they are nice and stuff so i guess it's ok lol.
I feel like some of them have stereotypes about diff types of people and ethnicities which i HATE HATE HATE (esp. considering i'm the minority in the group lol. They are all irish/italin. I'm the random Mexican who went to 'elmont')

luckily my bf is marrying one of his friends so it makes it better

I love his guy friends. One of them lives really close to our new house and comes over twice a week to hang out with us. It's really boys night with me there but it's fun. The rest of the guys are cool.....all single except one....i'm even trying to set them up with my single girlies!

THe funny this is about his friends..I have known them as long as I have know FH. It's great at times because I don't have to worry about much because I already know all their silly things because basically I was there with them.

I semi have the same situation not so much the ethnicity part but they're pretty immature and have been friends forever. So def the same with the click and having a hard time with someone new. FH is obviously the most mature and ready to settle down and it seems most of them have stereotypes for gf's that are controlling and just want to take the guy away so I think they're a little hesitant to us getting married but are still happy bc we do get along. Luckily one of his other friends has an amazing gf who he's prob going to propose to soon and we get along great!! For the most part it all works out.

He doesn't really see his friends that much, the few that I have met I were kind of shy - the others are a bit wild, not my kind of crowd...

When FH and I first started dating, I couldn't stand his best friend. Like it was so bad that he and I couldn't even be in the same room together. We would argue over EVERY stupid little thing. FH and I even went on vacation with this guy and his girlfriend, and there's one picture of the friend and I where we happen to be sitting on the same bench but as far apart as possible. FH turned to us and told us to take a picture, so we each kinda just leaned in but you can tell it's obvious we don't want to be around each other.

As my relationship with FH continued (it's been 9 years now), his friend and I started to get more civil and then finaly we actually got along.

FH and the friend had a falling out back in October and he hasn't really spoken to him since. The friend showed up at our E-party an hour and a half late (it was only a 3 hour party) and looked like he just rolled out of bed. Needless to say, FH will NOT be asking this friend to be a groomsman.

The rest of FH's friends are now some of my best friends. Since we've been together so long, we don't really have separate friends anymore, except for co-workers. Most of our friends are couples too.
