Did you and FH have the same honeymoon destination in mind, or was it a battle?
Of course I wanted to go to Hawaii, but he didn't want to travel that far and since I don't want to be touristy on HM (I just want to relax) we agreed on Punta Cana.

Our criteria was that we wanted to go somewhere neither of us have been. He really wanted some sort of international travel and I wanted a beach, relaxing week. We settled on Punta Cana DR. Guess I won!

At First we were going to go Nigara Falls but then when we booked our wedding at the Holiday Inn they give us 5 days at the Holiday Inn in Orlando so we both said forget Nigara Falls we will go to Disney and we are going to stay an extra 5 days so 10 days in Orlando

My DH really wanted a beach, all inclusive, lazy HM - we're going to Riviera Maya.
But for me, on our 5th wedding anniversary, we're going to London and Paris - my dream desinations

we both wanted to go to Italy until we priced it out etc
When all said and done, i priced out and packaged out several things and we agreed on sandals bahamas

We both agreed on Aruba! It was a place we both had never been and wanted to visit.

Actually, I have always wanted to go to Ireland on my honeymoon, even going so far as declining when the opportunity came up while I was single. But I ended up diagreeing with myself on that one, and following the advice of people who suggested that we would both need a relaxing, not sight-seeing type of vacation after the wedding! So we're going to Aruba.

Yeah it was a battle us vs. Money LOL... we wanted to go to the Atlantis but they raised their prices way up this year and for us it def wasn't worth it to pay for a meal plan for 125 pp everyday for a week. We decided to go to Barcelo Palace in Punta Cana and got a better deal, can't wait to go!
