I have training all day today so I'm not going to be on the rest of the day.
This is a definite repeat - but I don't think this has been done in a while so we can hear answers from some of the new girls. And I love reading the stories!

Vinny and I decided to go to Boston for a little get away trip. On that Saturday, we decided to walk around Boston Common. After about 2 hours of walking around, I was eagered to go to another place. Vinny said we should take one more lap around. I said okay. Then we walked up this white gazebo and he took my hand. He told me to take my gloves off. As I was removing my gloves, Vinny reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a ring. He got down on one knee and I knew then that he was going to propose. I was litterally shaking. I asked him a couple of times if he was serious and he said yes. I then quickly said yes. I was so happy. We then sat on a park bench for about 10 minutes. The both of us were crying. It was so perfect. We then called all our family and friends. Most of them already knew because Vinny asked my parents for permission 2 weeks earlier. Everyone was so happy for us.

FH proposed on St. Patrick's Day 07.
For our first Christmas together, he made me a scrapbook with pics of our first date, first vacation together, etc. We've added pages on to it since then. In early March he borrowed the book to 'show someone at work who was getting married.' (He was lying. )
On St. Patty's Day he came over with a full dinner (corned beef, potatoes, etc) and returned the scrapbook. After we ate he had me look through it again... and the ring was tied to a new page he had made.

Very simple & sweet. He made us breakfast then sat me on his lap & said babe i love you with all of my heart. You're the best thing to ever happen to me. Will you please marry me & be my wife so i can put this beautiful ring on your finger? I loved it because of it simplicity & honesty!

FH and I had planned a trip to Lake Tahoe for after I took the bar exam. On our first day out there were were on a crazy hard trail and we stopped to take a break. it was overlooking the lake with all the mountains in the back.

It was our 4 year anniversary ... just the typical..
We went out to a nice pricey steak house..since we're both steak lovers lol... and we were just having a normal dinner. Then, i have noticed that he started acting odd... LOL. I kept asking him what was wrong. I told him I was gonna go freshen up in the ladies room, and when I get back I hope he's acting like his normal self. LOL. Sure enough< I get back, and sitting on a plate right in front of me is a ring. He starts studdering over his words (too cute) to ask... 'wwwwill you'.. I was like, OMG!! He then walked over went down on one knee and asked again. The WHOLE place started cheering. I felt like i was in a movie! lol

At home, he pissed me off all week saying he ordered a gift online and he didn't know if i'd like it and it was going to take longer for it to arrive and stuff. Then on our 3 year anniversary he gives me flowers and a card and the card says ' just heard the wonderful news that your planning to say your i do's' I swear i started shaking and kept saying omg omg omg omg are you serious? And he just says yes, gets down on his knees and says 'marry me?' but the look on his face was PRICELESS-ive never seen him so nervous in my life! So of course I said yes!

We went to Coney Island to watch the fireworks and he said look at that one and pointed up and then agan look at that one and pointed up and finally look at this one and his finger pointed straight in front of me... I'm thinking fireworks aren't ON the beach and I look and he's holding the box with the ring. I didnt even wait for him to ask, I put the ring on myself, turned around to him (he was hugging me from behind) kissed him and said yes.

FH proposed a random weekend, I knew he was going to because he had spent a ton of money at a jeweler from his Checking Account! (we own a house together and share finances)
Anyway, we went up to this beautiful hotel for a night and had spa treatments and such. He was actually trying to get this couples massage and soaking treatment 3 hours with some privacy and was goign to pop the question like that...
But they were booked. So instead before we went out for dinner we were in our plush robes enjoying some wine and cheese and I honestly knew it was coming...but not at that moment. He caught me off guard!
It was really sweet, because my FH is not one to say all the sweet things that he said that night....
It was wonderful!

He popped the question in Disney at the most expensive restaurant Victoria and Alberts. I had no clue. He had a special dessert ordered and the ring was inside a rose under the dome of those fancy dessert carriers. When they first brough the dessert covered... he started to cry and I had no idea what was happening... then he got down on one knee and opened the cover! At first I told him he is crazy but then i said yes!

He popped the question at a restaurant in the city on Valentine's Day. I had an inkling that day that he would do it, buttttt then he totally tricked me and had me convinced he wasn't going to do it when we were at the restaurant so I was pouting. Then, I got up and went to the restroom and when I got back he had the ring under my napkin and when I picked it up my napkin all I saw was this gorgeous ring! I don't remember anything he said I was too busy looking at the ring and crying, but I know I said yes!

at his parents house. he tried to make it as romantic as possible being the cirumstances ( i had a HORRIBLE stomach virus and was not in great shape at all!) I was laid out on the couch (well more like passed out on the couch) and all of his family came in. They were all smiling and staring at me. Then he came in got on one and said his cute little speech, but the left the box closed after he asked, so his uncle said ' uh, I think she wants to see the rock first before she give her answer' I instantly felt better

I actually planned the day. We went to the city to see the Chinese New Year Splendor at Radio City. It was a last minute decision made on Monday for a Thursday show. We were sitting in our seats about 45 mins before it was going to start and he leaves to get a program. Comes back and throws the program and some fortune cookies in my lap. Said they had some treats for us. So I opened it and it had my name and 'will you marry me?' on the fortune inside. I said, 'You're not doing this now are you?' He said yes, got down on one knee, opened up the ring box which had a light on and started saying stuff. I don't remember any of it because I kept thinking 'close the box, close the box.' I said alright. I couldn't wait to get out of the theater to really see the ring.
