I have training all day today so I'm not going to be on the rest of the day.
This is a definite repeat - but I don't think this has been done in a while so we can hear answers from some of the new girls. And I love reading the stories!

FH proposed while we were on vacation in Virginia Beach. We were back at the hotel room after a nice dinner. He took me out onto our balcony overlooking the ocean and got down on one knee. After I said yes and calmed down, we called our families (who already knew) and then we went down to the boardwalk to watch the fireworks, street performers and got some ice cream. I can't believe it happened almost a year ago already (8-22-07).

we had been fighting alll day and i left his house and then went back to apoligize...it was around christmas time (12/27) so he said want to go look at christmas lights at our fave house...so i said ok, the lights were off (it was like 10) so he said mind if i take montauk highway home...i was still mad so i was like 'whatever' then he pulled into carvel (where we first met) and said get out of the car...i thought he was kicking me out of the car!!! i said to myself let me bring my phone just in case he drives away...so he gets out of the car and says sit down (i knew he was going to ask me then) and he said something and asked if i would marry him....sooo i said yes
and then we got un-engaged
the second time it was our 5 year anniversary and i kinda thought he was going to--so we went to dinner at tellers and then went to down by the water (by VYC) to look at a lighting storm..so as we were sitting there he says i dont want to do anything crazy bc i want you to still tell everyone the way i first engaged, but will you marry me again....
and now we are engaged again

He took me to the city. We went to the Central Park Zoo and Top of the Rock. As soon as we got to the top, the 1st thing out of my mouth was ' I bet alot of people get engaged up here, it's a perfect spot!' Sure enough, he said 'Let's take a pic' So he asked the security guard to take our pic and next thing I knew he was on his knee!! He was like ' You are right, alot of people do get engaged up here...' I have pics in my album. The guy did a good job with the pics!! LOL

So as most of you oldies know that FH had the setting and was getting the diamond. So for alittle over 2 months I was waiting and waiting. We had the RH, photographer and DJ booked even before I got the ring. Well 5 days later, September 1st, he took me for a ride on his motorcycle and took me to this pond/park, we had gone there a couple of times. For some reason he waited til dark. We sat on the bench and he started talking....If I dont do this I will regret it.....and there was the ring and in the box there was alittle light. Thats why he waited til night. He wanted to take me down to The Riviera, our rH but, he knew I wouldnt be able to take the long bike ride. All in all it was cute.

we were on our way to dinner for our 3 year anniversay and he pulled over in the car wash where we had our first kissed and asked me there....to be honest i was sooo excited i don't remember what he actually say before the will you marry me....hahah

I just had to answer a day later because I LOVE OUR ENGAGEMENT!
My FH brought me to Middletown, NY, for what I thought was hot air balloon prize from his job. When we were up in the balloon he popped the question! It was so awesome!
