I had to post today's question nice and early since I'm not going to be online very often today (boo!). I'll definitely miss being on here and will probably go through withdrawal
Anyway, here's today's question:
What is the best and worst gifts that your FH has ever given to you? (and yes, i know it's the thought that counts ... we're ignoring that little fact )
Best: hmm, lots of good things ... my fave is prob the day of 'stuff' he set up for my bday 2 years ago. We went horseback riding by the beach, then on a gondola ride in central park, then out to dinner at Four. it was a great day! Worst: he bought me some lingerie which makes me feel SOOOO ugly and fat (though FH liked it ... figures)

Best gift...other than the engagement ring, since that's probably the 'best gift' for all of us ...I'd have to say a picture he bought for me from a street vendor in Montreal, when we went there a few years ago. We kept passing this particular vendor and I was obsessed with this one photo. He bought it for me and gave it to me, framed, with my Christmas gifts a couple of months later. Every time I look at it I remember how much fun we had on that trip.
Worst gift...there hasn't been anything that's been terrible. Some things were super practical, that I guess some people would think were scuky gifts, but I like them a lot and use them everyday. Like this sleek trash can I really wanted but didn't have the money for. Sure, it's a trash can. But it makes my kitchen look nicer and I couldn't buy it for myself at the time.

The best was my green amethyst ring. It's exactly what I wanted and was my first piece of jewelry from FH. Also, he made me a scrapbook of our first trip together, which was really nice!
The worst gift was a teddy bear that he got for me to compete with the teddy bear I slept with every night. My ex gave it to me for Valentine's Day and I got attached to sleeping with it. I never even connected the bear to my ex in my head. FH was very jealous of the bear and used to throw it off the bed every chance he got. So he got me a new bear for Valentine's Day, but it was too big and hard and I couldn't get comfortable sleeping with it. I felt bad, but it was like a revenge present!!!

The best was my diamond heart bracelet he gave me for our 6 month anniversay and the 'D'Amico' Mets jersey he gave me for our 2 month anniversary. ( I had always wanted a Mets jersey with my name on it).
Actually I love all the gifts he gave me.
There were no gifts that were the worst. if he would have gotten me the bike he wanted to give me for Christmas that would have been the worse- but I talked him out of it

The best gift he ever gave me was make-up for my birthday last year. He went to the mall and up to the make-up counter all by himself and I just find it adorable. He gives very good gifts, so there is no worst.

Honestly, he's never given me a bad gift. Maybe it was bad because he tricked me into thinking it was a Christmas present for someone else so that I would wrap it. But he always gets me a good gift.

Im not sure I have a favorite...he is really great at getting gifts. I would probably have to say the diamond bracelet i got last year 'just because' was pretty great when I was so stressed with work.
Worst gift...I wanted a puppy a few years ago (before we got our dog now), and he really had me thinking he was getting one for me for xmas. I had it in my head that I was getting one, only to open a gift, and it was an electronic toy dog. Cute, but not the dog I had planned on. I did get my pup a few months later, so all was good...but I was PISSED at the time!

I cant say he's ever given me a lame gift. We also cut out buying each other big gifts since our bdays, anniv, and xmas are all in the same month. So its alot of lil random gifts that are awesome. But the two that were big and stick out to me are 1- for my bday he surprised me with a dinner cruise around the city, then took a nighttime helicopter ride around the city. It was awesome! And 2- was when he finally agreed for us to get our second kitten who is now my little baby and attached to me.

Worst: fish tank and fish. I killed the fish. He wnats to get fish again. He better take care of them because I'll kill them again.
Other than that, he's a really good gift giver. The two best: my pink digital camera and the earrings he got me this past xmas
