QOTD: How many of you knew right away when u met ur signif. other??

was it a connection straight off the bat and u just 'Knew'..u couldnt stop talking, hanging out from day one??

or was it really slow, filled with some games and did the 'forever' take sometime to grow....

Nope.
We worked together and he was a big flirt (and not necessarily with me when we first met).

Eventually we did flirt like crazy but it really was nothing more than that ...

in all honesty, I don't know when I realized he was IT!

ETA: We had a VERY tumultuous six years before we got engaged.

Looking back, I now realize that I did know right away that he was the one, I was just so stunned at the time that I knew something was different about him, but I just didn't know what it was! :) I'm a serious loud mouth, and the day I met DH, for the first time in my life - I couldn't talk!!! My sis always teases me about it since she's usually the quiet one and said we switched for that day - but there was just SOMETHING that I was so attracted to, I literally felt like I was drawn to him and didn't ever want to pull away. Our first date we told each other that we both felt the same way, and from then on, I just knew that he was everything I ever wanted and I'd finally found him It's been like that since we first met to this day, and that was over 7 years ago! I love my Craigy!

Well, Fh said it was love at first sight for him. I wasn't interested in him until months after I met him (I had a bf). Although, to this day I remember exactly when I met him, and you ususally don't remeber that about a person, at least I don't. It was just some weird thing. like I knew he'd be important someday. Once we got together we were together. There was some confusion at the very beginning, because our friends were telling each of us all of this stuff about the other, all having their own agendas, and so neither of us really knew what was going on, but finally we just spent more and more time together and let our feelins be known and the rest is history. There were never any 'games.' Games are for babies, and will NEVER turn into a real, lasting relationship, IMO
