QOTD I 10/15/13

Good morning ladies! It was really amazing going through all your answers yesterday! Thank you for sharing!

So as I wake up this morning after my second crazy wedding dream I'm wondering, are you having wedding dreams/nightmares? What are they about? What is one of your hopes and a fear for your wedding day related to all your planning? (since that's where all our drams come from anyway! )


I had a very similar dream twice - I've been dreaming that its my wedding day but its too soon so I haven't done the little projects yet. In my dream I didn't finish our picture montage and our DJ didn't have any of our special song requests so everyone left early. My hope for the wedding since we started planning is that everyone will have a lot of fun! I'm afraid that the day of I'm going to say 'oh I wish I did that..' about a project or a vendor choice and have some wedding day regret.

QOTD I 10/15/13 - Long Island Weddings

Ive had 3 dreams already and each one is worse than the other
first one-no makeup vendor or florist ideas booked
second - no bridal party
and 3rd - no alterations on my dress and the guys never had their tuxs!

LOL i just actually had my first wedding nightmare over the weekend. it had nothing to do with anything going wrong with the vendors ... i had a dream i was pregnant!! in my dream i found out i was pregnant and like almost instantly had a HUGE baby belly and couldn't fit into my dress. i was so stressed because FIL's are really conservative and would be SO mad if i was pregnant before we were married ... then I was also stressed because my dress didn't fit and there was no time to get a new one!!

my hope for my wedding day is just that everyone has a great time and there is a ton of love in the air. i think our wedding will give our guests a really good impression of FH and I as a couple, and why we are meant to be together.

i'm not sure about my fear ... maybe that i'll trip walking down the aisle, or that i'll spill something on my dress!

QOTD I 10/15/13 - Long Island Weddings

I've only had 1 dream and it was that I never booked anyone to do my hair or makeup for the wedding and I was begging someone to do it for me so I could get dressed and get married. stressful

My one fear is that I don't drink too much on my wedding day. I have cut down on my drinking and the last time we went out I was tipsy pretty quickly. Nothings worse than a drunk bride, I warned FH to make sure I eat!!

QOTD I 10/15/13 - Long Island Weddings

I've had about 3 or 4 already, but they were pretty spaced out thank God! In each one I'm always late or I miss out on something. I think it's because I keep telling everyone that I don't want to miss a single moment since I hear the day goes by extremely fast.
The last dream/nightmare I had, it starting snowing before the ceremony and my mom was outside of the church shoveling the snow! The best part is that is totally something she would do too lol.

Funny you ask since I had my second wedding nightmare last night. The first was that no one was getting up to dance only to realize we forgot to hire a DJ.

I can't remember last nights dream. Probably a good thing!

Like you, my hope is everyone really enjoys themselves. My fear is that I'm going to get my period that day I also think I'm going to think to myself after, oh we should have done this or that. But at the end of the day all that matters is....we are getting married!! :)

I'll never forget, my friend told me 'Nicole...don't be that girl!' Haha meaning the girl that gets engaged and pregnant before the wedding lol. I mean understandably it happens but I get what she meant!

QOTD I 10/15/13 - Long Island Weddings

I've only had two so far! FH and I don't live together yet but he's been staying with me the past few days and is staying the rest of the week - he brought up last night how he couldn't believe how far in advanced people booked things and how he hoped I found someone to do my hair soon. I had a dream last night that I arrived with no hair done, no make-up and he said he woke up because I was yelling at him in my dream haha...but at least this time I was wearing a wedding dress! Last time I had a nightmare was before I bought a dress

I had 3 so far! The last nightmare I wasn't ready, my hair was a mess and I couldn't find my dress!! All of them are the same though no photographer or I didn't remember I was getting married on that day lol!! I stopped stressing out, it is funny how our minds play tricks on us! Lol!

I actually haven't had any specific wedding nightmares but i have noticed that since wedding planning started, my reoccurring stress dreams have started. Mostly just ones that i'm clenching my jaw and my teeth are breaking or falling out. I get those dreams all the time. Toooo much stress

I had a dream the night I bought my dress. I was so nervous and stressed that I bought the wrong one. Other than that no wedding related dreams, my dreams tend to be stressful most every night!

QOTD I 10/15/13 - Long Island Weddings

I haven't had 'nightmares' per se, since I think my wedding related dreams are amusing. I dreamt that my younger sister (and my MOH) got engaged, and I was really confused since I had never met her fiancé before. Also, she tells me she's getting married on the same day as I am, and I woke scared wondering which wedding my parents are going to attend lol.

My hope for the wedding day is that everyone shows up on time, since I get really nervous when people are late. I also hope that my FH and I will be able to take it all in and enjoy every moment of the day with family and the bridal party.
