QOTD JANUARY 10, 2011

First of all a very Happy (or not so happy) Monday to you girls!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again to Kfizz for choosing me as BOTW :) I was sooo excirted when i got some texts form you ladies-- i was at the in laws for dinner and couldnt go on the computer.... but was super excited when i got home!!! You girls are truly the best.

Todays question is not wedding related.... its a topic that comes up often for FH and I.

If you could live ANYWHERE.... without $$$$ being an issue where would you choose to live??

FH and I had the opportunity to live in London for a couple of years through his job... however we declined because it wasnt the right time.... we had literally just gotten engaged and were looking to buy a house.

I would want to move to Sicily.... hands down!! I'd be closer to family and friends... However im sure FH would want to move somewhere in Asia. He is in IT-- and would really want to be in the MECCA of it all!!!!

Soooo....where would you live...

hmmmm I'd like to say that FH and I would move somewhere glamorous but I honestly think we wouldn't move out of the area - or at least very far out of the area. We both like spending time with our families so we wouldn't want to move too far. I think maybe somewhere out on the island - like beachfront property (or near the beach) would be nice.

If we had money to live somewhere else for maybe just a year, I think I would like to live somewhere in Europe - like England or Italy.

so if FH and I could live anywhere...it would still be in NY since this is the best place for my field (Art). But I would def move out to the Hamptons / Montauk and buy the prettiest colonial with a pool!

I woudl have to say Hawaii... We went there a few years ago and I truly loved it there... jsut the atmosphere, the attitude and the way of life there.. if not there, then honestly, I would have to say I would stay here... I have to be near the water and a beach. I would miss my boat if I left and wasn't near water. lol
FH would never leave his job though until he retired, so even if money wasnt an issue, we would have to stay till her retired.

This is a tough question to answer because we have family on both coasts and would want to be near them. As much as we love snow and mountains, we'd probably pick a house near the beach in California.

This is an easy one - we talk about it all the time. We'd move to Santorini in a heart beat! And we'd probably buy a big enough house so that our family could stay with us often.

Congratulations Lizzie!!!!!

If we could live anywhere I think we would stay in NY because both of our families are here. I would love to have a HUGE house on the island with a nice big kitchen, fireplace, big pool and lots of land!!!

FH and I were arguing about this yesterday. lol

He thinks we arn't going to be able to afford to stay in New York, and he wants to move to Florida.

Both of our families are here and we don't know anyone in Florida.

If we could live anywhere and money wasn't an issue, we would have our main home here and a vacation home in Italy!

FH and I have some differences on this one but if we had to compromise, it'd probably be Thailand b/c it's warm weather, it's beautiful there and he can go fishing

I would def be living in an amazing house in the Alps or Alaska ontop of a gorgeous snow filled mountain!!!

FH on the other hand would prob want to live in a beautiful beach house in Hawaii

Australia... FH company may expand there and he already told me that he's going to fight for us to move there for a year! Hopefully everything works out!

FH and I talk about this all the time we both want to move to north carolina - he would love to live on outer banks but I think too much hurricanes lol so we will prob go inland near the sound!

If I had my choice either the City, Cali, Paris. as I am in Fashion but FH wants to be here because that's where his business is and we aren't going anywhere.

My fiance and I plan on moving to Florida (yay Disney World!) but if I had it my way, we'd be moving to Greece. I'm so obsessed with the culture and stuff. :)

I think Aaron(who lives in England) would prefer to live in Cali.

Honestly, i would stay in the neighborhood but move to a super swanky part of town with a HUGE house and lots of room in the backyard. Probably either White stone in Queens, but most likely, either Dyker Heights or Manhttan Beach in Brooklyn. my dream....

FH and I are true Long Islanders....haha. So we wouldn't leave...all of our family and friends are here!

We would definitely move to Asharoken....in case no one is familiar with it it's a small town, basically a small strip of land that has one side on the LI sound and one side on Northport Harbor. We talk all the time about how we have to get there before we turn 50 (eeeek!)

Annnnd. If I could be really greedy, I would want a summer home on Fire Island. And maybe one in Vermont by Killington?
