2 separate ones.... one for ladies who BOUGHT THEIR DRESS ALREADY... the other for LADIES WHO HAVENT PURCHASED....
If you haven't purchased.... What are you looking for? How do you think you will KNOW that it is THE ONE??? If you have gone shopping and haven't FOUND IT YET... are you having anxiety about it?
If you have purchased?
How did it feel when you put it on???? How did you know it was THE ONE?
I figured those of us (like me ) who haven't made the purchase can share their thoughts.. and those of us who have... can give us advice, as well as share that FABULOUS MOMENT.. when THEY KNEW IT WAS THE DRESS
Ok time to head to work... have a wonderful day my lovely brides of 09!

I brought my dress, and I first saw it in brides magazine and was like wow, thats a really pretty dress. I stared at it for days, and then finally decided to make a trip to new york to try it on.
I had the moment all brides talk about . I cried when I saw myself in the dress. My consultant teared up, my non emotional mother was like Oh my goodness. I felt beautiful in it. I felt like a princess. I could see myself walking down the aisle in it. It was perfect!

I haven't bought my dress yet.
I'm looking for a strapless, sweetheart neckline, a line dress. I would like a lot of bling on the bodice as well as around the bottom and on the train. I want a sweep or chapel train. It's also important that the dress is light weight. A few dresses I tried on weighed a ton. I plan to dance all night and need something comfortable.
I'm going shopping in May with my sister for my dress. I can't wait!

Let me tell you, there are so many beautiful dress and it wasn't easy to find 'the dress'. The first time I went I fell in love with 36 dress, but really loved one. But I was afraid I didn't try enough on, so I went looking some more and for the first couple of times I kept going back to 'the dress'. But then someone told me to check out Demetrios in Macy's and I was a little nervous cause I thought they maybe expensive. Well I was in love with his dresses. The first time I went I was a little overwhelmed, so I went back with again for a second time and that is when I found my dress. I loved it, I was glowing and didn't want to take off. I did have problems with my friends, last weekend when I showed them the dress, they loved it, but stilled loved the original (I was sort of hoping it would be all agreed that the dress I chose was 'the one'), but after the help from my LIW girls, I was happy with my decision. I love the dress, and it makes me feel very special.

i'm a have-not bride.
my dress will have to be soft--no taffeta for me. i'm really in love with organza, especially when it's draped over something silky like satin. as far as embellishments, i'm a less-is-more kind of girl. some beading, but not all over the place. some lace, but in accents and not as a mainstay. Absolutely NO pick-ups at all. probably strapless, but i'm flexible.
i'm super finicky about all of my clothes, and as with everything else i buy, i'll know when it put it on if i have to have it. i can't wait to go shopping this summer

I haven't gotten my dress yet. I'm not exactly sure what I want, but I know what I don't want: no train, not alot of beading and definitely no full poofy skirt.
I've seen a few that I liked, but nothing that's made me say, 'THIS IS THE ONE!'
I think a big part of my problem is that I HATE shopping and my favorite outfit is sweats and an oversized t-shirt.

Re: ~QOTD~ March 12, 2008
Ok so I havent bought my dress yet but, I know what dress I am getting. I tried on ALOT of dress of ALL styles and material, seriously. But, when I puy on the Victoriana by Maggie I smiled big time but, I kept it to myself that I liked it because my mom didnt like pick-ups. So we went to other places, etc.... I went back to Lillettes, where I tried it on, Gerri pulled it out again and that was it I knew but, waited til I tried on others that I liked in pics just to make sure. It is hard for me to make certain decisions. So I went to try the other dresses on, pics in album and, when I put the Maggie on again I couldnt stop smiling and looking in the mirrior. Thats my long story. Ordering my dress at the end of this month or next month

I haven't bought my dress yet. Honestly, I think I know what I want, but who knows what I'll like when I start trying things on. I would imagine it just feels right when it's the one and I'm sure I'll be crying like the baby I am.

I'm looking for a simple dress (lace, A-line, off the shoulder). I think I'll know that it is one when my heart starts beating fast. Also I know when I look at my MOH and my mother's face. I'm having a little anxiety about it. I'm trying hard to lose weight. I want it to be a pleasurable experience.

My mom is making mine so I basically can dream up whatever I want and she will make it! Unfortunately my dream keeps changing which is why we havent started it yet.
I have tried on a few dresses and I know what style I want its just the beading and the embroidery I dunno about.

I knew it was the one because when I kept trying on different ones I kept wanting to put that one back on. When I finally said it was the one everyone just was in awe, it was totally me and I felt so comfortable and perfect in it.

i didnt get mine yet and in fact, my mom is making it. so i get to have whatever i want and nobody will have a dress like me. I'm using a pronovias dress as a guide, but its going to be lace and aline, not poofy at all and cap sleeves!
