Good morning. Next month I start alterations on my dress. My question, how did you vision of your wedding dress change from what you actually purchased?

I did purchase the mermaid I wanted. Originally I wanted all lace but felt something was missing. My dress has appliqués and swarovski crystals throughout.

All I knew when I started dress shopping was that I didnt want lace. I didnt want poof. Well my dress is an all lace slim a-line. Kinda funny that it ended up being exactly what I thought I didnt want. Oh well I love my dress

I basically got what I wanted but I choose a different shape. I had no idea what drop waist dresses were till I went in the salon and found out they were perfect for my body type.
