So happy its the weekend!

When you went dress shopping, who went with you? How long did it take you to find the 'one' ?

I had my mom go with me and it wasn't planned. We were going out shopping and I decided I wanted to just go 'look'. When I shop for dresses, I usually just pick the first dress I tried on. My mom told me I should try on several dresses. When I was trying on the dresses, I really liked the 2nd one. Then when I got to the 5th dress, I was speechless!! I knew right then that that dress was the 'one'. Every time I've gone back to put it on, I've never doubted it! I cannot wait for my FH to see me in it! My first fitting is on the 1st. I'm super excited!

One of my BMs came with me for the preliminary dress shopping experience, and my Mom came with me the 2nd time around. I only tried on 4 dresses, the 3rd was the winner ... but I'm still not sure if I got 'the one'. I was so fixated on everyone telling me how skinny it made me look that I picked it without thinking of all the Maggie dresses I SOOO wanted ...

The first time I went dress shopping it was kind of an accident. Me, my mom, my moh and my good friend went to Lilette's in Bellmore to try on the bridesmaid dress I had fallen in love with in a magazine. My friend tried the dress on and loved it so I was sold. Gerri, who I was working with, said there was more time in our appt and suggested I try on some dresses. I fell in love with Maggie Sottero's Jenna and my mom put a down payment on it but since it was over a year before my wedding, Gerri suggested I come back 8 months before to get sized and order.

When I went back it was just me and my mom and I told Gerri that I was second guessing Jenna. Gerri was so helpful and that's when I found *the ONE* so technically it was just my mom with me that day

The first time I went, I went with my Maid and Matron of honor. Tried on about 5 dresses and loved one!
Then I went to another store, with my MOH, tried on about 3 and found the one!!!

Then I went back with my mom and sisters and that was that!!!!! Bought and ordered it on the spot!!

i tried on a bajillion dresses, probably went to almost every bridal salon on LI + Kleinfelds and RK bridal

each time i shopped, i went with different people

but mostly my mom, my sister, my aunt and a good friend of mine (in different rotations lol)

when i found the one i was with my mom and my aunt

my mom actually picked out the dress and i said ummmmm no....she made me try it on and ended up being the one!

I went looking casually a copuple times but the first time i 'offically' went with the thought of finding one that day my mom, my FMIL, my grandma, and two closest friends came with me

I found my dress is about an hour, the fifth one i tried on

When I found my dress, my sister was shopping with me... it was the second time I tried on dresses.

Before I bought it, I brought my parents, sister and brother ... needless to say the boys weren't all the excited about it

I saw my dress on a television show.... Might have been Tyra Banks show as crazy as that sounds..... about 2 years ago...

I had no idea who made it or the cost... So after hours of searching online, I finally found out who made it and what it was called!!

Only two bridal salons carried it... Kleinfeld's or Manhasset Bridal Salon (Which I chose for convenience!) Took most of my bridal party with me and my mother of course!
