Hey Ladies,

Im so EXCITED to BOTW on the week of my birthday!!

What a lovely gift.

So I am going to a 'mini' question today seeing as its late and the baton was just handed to me.

Question: What is your favorite part about summer holiday weekends?

For me its going to my moms house in CT. I see all the old crowd. We hand out of someone's porch and/or have a bonfire. Drink some beer and just have great time.

Its about seeing family and friends and just relaxing.

I also LOVE the softball games we play on the holiday weekends!!!

Having FH home to hang with...he works so much so it is nice to have consecutive days with him.

I'm from Long Beach so at night even in the summer it gets kinda cool... so my favorite thing is when we all stay on the beach with all the families, put sweatshirts and sweatpants on, and then order dinner on the beach!!

(Which we just did!)

Every Labor Day weekend I go up to one of my best friend's house in CT. They have an amazing house (I call it a resort) with a huge pool, a great tiki bar and a sports court. We hang out, BBQ, drink, play badminton, bocce ball, ping pong, etc., go in the pool and at night, we pull out the outdoor movie screen and watch movies while sitting outside with a bonfire.

FH had to work this year but I went up on Saturday morning and came home last night. I would have stayed today too, but I didn't want to get stuck in traffic and it's my mom's birthday today too!
