QOTD MONDAY 1/31

Morning lovely ladies...can't believe its Monday again...

Today I ask u a question about second guessing / doubts....

During the midst of wedding planning we sometimes make rash decisions that we may later second guess...a vendor u chose but wish u could change or a purchase u didn't make but with u did....what's yours?

Mine would be my photographer...when we booked we booked him with the video Guy I loved. I wanted them to work as a team and although I wasn't 100% in love I didn't want the two vendors from two different companies ...well ffw to now and they split up and now I am stressed cause I would have never hired him alone!

I wish I would not have rushed to buy the veil with the dress, because I bet i would have been able to find it cheaper. I spent 300$ on a veil. Now that I look back I see it was way too much. AND I wish I wouldn't have rushed to book a photographer, I love Glenmar but after finding out that my FSIL has photographer friends from when she was in art school, that were willing to do it for 600$ it makes me a little bummed knowing I could have saved lots of money there.

OMGoodness thats terrible, so you're planning on keeping him? That was one of our big fears too! We still don't have a videographer

Probably my dress I think it looks good on me but I'm not in love with it. I would have waited a bit longer.

I'm actually the opposite. I've been so indecisive about everything that I am taking forever to book anything and causing crazy stress on myself. I wish I had just booked some vendors right away and stopped looking at every single one out there.

We rushed into booking a hall that turned out to be a BIG mistake. Luckily we were able to cancel and get out of that!

I second guessed my dress. I went dress shopping in May and fell in love with the first dress I tried on (Maggie Sottero - Jenna) but the woman advised me to come back in January to order it since it was so far from my wedding date. Well thank god because last month I went back and told her I wasn't sure if Jenna was right for me - I tried on a bunch more dresses and found THE ONE!! I'm so happy I second guessed myself because I LOVE my dress!!!

I wish I found out about this site from the start - I would have been much more prepared when I visited the initial vendors - including knowing that I could negotiate even w/ the hall. Oops.

I also realized very recently how quickly things change - i.e. guest list - but nothing much I could do about that, just now need to deal with it.

I was the same way. I was set on Pronovias dress and was so in love, but after thinking about it and trying on other dresses I ended up with a Maggie :)

We booked with Glenmar too....and I am not 100% for them either...but FMIL is paying, and she insists everything will be perfect

i took my time with everything,and then I booked my flowers too fast! I got a good price, and i'm happy with them, but i'm wondering if I could have gotten a better price...

HI DATE TWIN!
I'm a little disappointed about the fact that we (my mother and I) were quick to sign with the DJ that we did. He was a smooth salesman and we were the his prey! LOL He was at our hall at a wedding showcase and supposedly gave us a deal. I don't know, this DJ better be phenomenal for the price we paid!

If you don't love it, why don't you go dress shopping for one that you do love! You could sell your dress online for a little off the original price.

You have to LOVE your dress!
