Good morning ladies!

Thank you all so much for picking me as your new BOTW! You all have been an excellent resource and 'family' of sorts for me in the past four months since I joined LIW.

I hope you all have found my posts helpful as well and I hope that my questions will be as interesting as those we've had in the past!


Question of the Day:

What is one aspect of your wedding planning that has been really important to you even though you never thought (in a million years even!) that you would care about and it caught you by surprise?

My Answer:

I'd have to say that for me, I never 'in a million years' thought I would care so much about flowers. Generally, I'm not a flower lover. In fact, I don't like flowers at all - every time FH bought them for me, I'd say something like, 'don't bother, I'm allergic to most of them anyway!' But for me, when I go to a wedding, the CPs 'make' or 'break' the night for me. I know this sounds a bit ridiculous, but in my experience, I've found that the CPs/BoKs that you pick for your wedding are really your only chance at individuality - YOU get to pick the flowers that go in those CPs and BoKs, and you get to design them the way that you want them to look on your wedding day.

What about the rest of you?

Honestly, I would say the whole process. I never thought I would get to the point in my life where I would have found someone who wanted to marry me or even have a nice wedding and suddenly I care about even the tiniest details

I never really thought I get so much into detail with everything but since planning I need everything to be right. I need the perfect flowers, the perfect BM dresses. I need everything to be right. I thought I'd be much more laid back with everything.

I always thought I'd have the attitude like 'Oh, who cares who shows up, I'll have fun regardless!'

But not I'm OBSESSED with my guest list and who's going to come and who may not make it. Will I meet my guest minimum, will it be too much??

I seriously have had paranoid dillusional thoughts like 'Maybe all my friends secretly hate me and nobody will show up.'

Flowers i thought were going to be something really easy and i have found it to be the hardest thing to pick. I guess i always thought i was just going to do roses but there is soooo many more choices i am so confused.

Making sure that the wedding is a total reflection of the both of us. We have made sure to keep this is sight on every aspect of our planning. FH is involved in everything, every decision, from the color of the tie he is wearing to the verbage and font of our invitations. He has his opions on things and we tie both of what we want into everything.
