Good morning! I'm having a hard time accepting that it's Monday morning right now. I hope you're all doing a little better than I am!
I know a few of us have been lacking some DIY motivation or taking a little break. So I thought we could get the creativity going. What has been your favorite DIY project so far? If you haven’t started one yet – what are you most excited to make?

My favorite, but most tedious DIY project, have been my fabric flower pomanders. Basically, you just cut 6 inch circles from fabric, then fold and glue the fabric twice, so it looks like a rose. Once that is done, stick holes in a styrofoam ball and put some hot glue, then the flower. It takes some time, but they came out very pretty and give me something to do in my spare time. I've made 10, I would like 20. There are pics in my DIY album.

The one I am most looking forward to is also the one I'm dreading....
With a quasi-medieval theme, and desire to name tables after mythological cities and kingdoms (ex, Camelot, Avalon, etc). I want to make mini pendant flags doubling as escort cards.
Put the name of the Kingdom of their table on one side, put Fh and mine names, the date on the other side of a mini-pennant flag.
Problem being is I would love for its to be faux silk, but that would require more sewing than Im capble off. Need a nice looking fabric that doesn't fray.

My favorite DIY project so far was making our Dorothy & Scarecrow cake topper!
The most tedious projects for me are when I have to do like 50-100 of the same thing... ahh! Putting the bows & stickers on the cylinder bubbles and gluing ribbon around our votives made my mind go numb haha

So far my favorite has been my cardbox. It was such a pain getting the fabric perfect but in the end it came out looking beautiful.

I have not done many DIY projects. I'm not so crafty however I will be DIYing my table #s and I will attempt to make a card box. I'm excited about making the table #s. I plan on taking pictures with FH and using them as a background for the table #s. And I will use rhinestones to make the #s.

My Favorite DIY project so far was def how I asked my bridesmaids to be in my wedding.
I made glittery wine glasses using the colors of my wedding that had their first letter of their name cut out and stuck it in a box with a brides maid shirt a ring pop and champaign. On the top of the box I wrote will you be my... and when they opened the box they saw bridesmaid. All the girls loved it so much :):)
