OK, so I think most girls start to get a little impatient waiting for our men to pop the question, because, well they are so slow with the whole process! SO question is...
If YOU were the one who was supposed to pop the question, when would it have been? Same time as he did it, how much sooner or how much later?!
Since I sold my co-op for out house, I thought that right after we I moved in (he was not allowed to move in until we were engaged) was the thr right time and that's when I would have. That was December 2008, we got engaged July 2009.

I think FH proposed at approximatly the same time i would've wanted him to. He actually wanted to propose sooner but I warned him that I wasn't ready yet.

I think FH did it at just the right time. If it were me, I would've waited a week and done it while we were in Disney World! But he faked me out! He was originally planning on proposing in Disney, but he was afraid that 1. he'd lose the ring and 2. he was under the impression that I somehow knew he was going to propose because I was 'being too nice to him that week'. Just goes to show I'm nice ALL the time because I had no idea! In fact the first words out of my mouth were 'Are you sh!tting me?'

i probably would have waited another year. lol
we bought our house may 2008 he popped the question nov 2008. money was super tight. we both knew we werent going anywhere. i sooooo would have done on our one year anniversary for our house.
i still dont know how he pulled it off

I wanted and he wanted to get engaged about 6 months earlier but there were talks about a strike around that time and he wanted to wait and see what happened with that first. No strike happened and a month after we got engaged. If it had been up to me I still would have gotten engaged when we originally wanted to

i was really on edge waiting for it so i guess maybe i would have done it a bit sooner - especially since i really wanted to get married in october instead of november so if it had been a bit sooner i might have been able to. but in the end i think it was pretty much spot on!

I would have done it earlier. We were looking at rings and talking about marriage about 9-10 months before we got engaged. He had the ring in his possession about 4-5 months before he proposed. I wish he would've proposed when he got the ring so I could've been a December 09 bride! But I didn't have enough time to plan my winter wedding when he did it. I would've proposed December 08 instead of April 09 like he did.
