QOTD! MY VERY FIRST ONE

Which brings me to ask this question:

What was the number one reason you fell for FH? I know our men have so many different wonderful qualities, but when you actually met FH for the first time what made you want to go on that first date?

he's really funny. & if he can make me laugh even when i'm at my worst, he's a keeper. he's also really caring. i was really sick last year & he stayed home with me for 3 days and took care of me.

We just hit it off! He was really sweet and seemed sincere.

I met my FH through a dating website. I wasn't interested in a serious relationship because I had JUST broken up with someone after 4 1/2 years. Most guys were like 'hey, we just hang out and go to a bar' (translation - I know you are on the rebound and want to get you drunk).

But after exchanging several e-mails with my FH, he was like 'listen, I really like you and I realize you are not looking for anything serious. So, why don't you take some time for yourself and in a few weeks, if you want to still go on a date with me, you have my #'

I just thought it was so sweet that he was willing to wait for me to get my head together.

But I think I knew he would be my FH about 4 months into our relationship.

first date - uhmm - honestly 'his looks' :)

Always the first thing that reels you in...!! LOL

Since our first date, I was always able to be myself around him and he was the same with me...we are two of the silliest people...

I think it was because he was completely different from everyone else I ever dated.

He looked so shy and quiet (looks can be deceiving!) and no one, and I mean NO ONE, can make me laugh like he does

It was his shyness - when I first met him he ignored me - completely, wouldnt make eye contact, then when he was busted for not chatting with me - he made me his 'buddy' like a cute guy thing - and it wasnt even a first date - we were like close friends and then it just happened and been in love since

For me it was his sense of humor and the way we clicked. We could talk and laugh together for hours and we had so much spark when we were together.

idk, didn't anyone just get 'that feeling?' after the fact I can list a million reasons--patience, quick wit, creativity, interesting perspective on the world, kindness to weaker creatures, sensitivity--but at the time, i was basing most of my decisions on the butterflies in my stomach.

we're women. we're intuitive by nature, no?

I knew Pat since high school- we were friends and always had little crushes on one another. But, we always had other people in our lives so never did anything happen 'til a few years after graduating. I always was turned on by the fact that he is SUPER tall. He is 6'7 and I always like a bigger man who can protect me. And, he is the sweetest person ever. Everyone always called him the gentle giant. I like nice guys and he is the nicest guy ever. That is what made me hang out with him in the first place.

For me it was definitely his sincerity! He was the sweetest & the most real guyi have ever met! IT WAS LOVE RIGHT THEN! lol

I would agree with that for my FH. I met him and knew he would be in my life forever, whether it was as a couple, or as friends. We just clicked.

I could tell he was really interested in me and not just someone who wanted to spend time in the bedroom. I met too many guys like that and FH is totally not that type. And when I spoke to him, he was actually listening... like asking questions, paying attention, showed interest.
