QOTD Part Deux.
Why did that post?? Is it me? It could easily have been my fingers accidentally hitting the mouse without me knowing it. They have minds, and gravitational forces, of their own. The thumb on my left hand even has two moons. Have I mentioned my fingers are large??
ANYWAY, I can't thank you ladies enough for bringing me out of my mood this morning. Was it the mayonnaise? Was it the unruly bush?? I don't know, but I feel so much better, I can't even tell you. Thanks so much.
And look, I didn't even have to have a bagel, or kick pigeons. I am so thankful.
Okay, multiple questions today, to go with my multiple moods. I am Sybil-icious. As always, answer the ones you like, ignore the ones you don't.
1. Tell us something not many people know about you?
I cry often. Sometimes I don't even know why. Mostly it happens when I'm watching TV. Man, when they 'move that bus' on Extreme Home Makeover, color me Niagara. Ever see the end of Field of Dreams?? When Kevin Costner says 'Dad? You want to have a catch?' It's like I'm watching puppy torture. I lose it. EVERY time. And I get sad about things that haven't even happened yet. I'll think about someone close to me passing away, even if they're not even sick, and get all upset. I waste a lot of time being upset about things that haven't actually happened.
I don't know what to tell you. My therapist moved away, and I haven't found a new one. I think the first one left because I depressed him. Suddenly, it's not so hard to understand why I have such food issues. I think sausage represents life for me, so when I have the sausage, these fears of death are allayed, and replaced with images of children laughing in fields, and candy. And sausage.
2. What has been the BEST part of the wedding planning for you, so far? Either a vendor you've met and LOVED, or a friend or family member who has really come through?
I have to say, for me, it's probably this site. I wouldn't have been able to plan ANYTHING without it, and I really do have so much fun on here every day. It's a relief sometimes to know that there are decent people around.
Unless you're ALL snowflake.
Other than that, I'm pretty proud of myself for saving so much money, and for some of the decisions I've made (getting the dress made was a big one). I've also lost about 50 lbs since the engagement, so I can't TOTALLY gripe about weight loss. It SHOULD have been a LOT more, but I'm not going to kick myself. I'm just going to be thankful that I LOST, and didn't gain.
And my Uncle Carl has been awesome. Just taking my side on the 'kids at the wedding' issue was a biggie for me. And he offered to pay for my dress, even though I know he can't afford it. I declined, but it meant so much that he offered.
#3. Which is your favorite Emote-Icon?? I don't know!! I love getting the laughey guy when I write something
- it makes me feel so good to know I made someone laugh. I also love Fainty
. I just think the fact that he's active is great. Like Clappy
, and Popcorny
. But my TOTAL fave is Saddy#2
, because he looks like he has gastrointestinal issues, and is versatile, because he can be used for anything from being sad, to having gas.
#4. If Heaven exists, what wouldyou like to hear God say when you arrive?
'Do Over.' And then I'd thank her and be on my way back to earth, this time as a thin person who can eat whatever she wants. And is President.
