My FH & I were dead set on a wedding song for months now - 'Everything I do, I do It for You' by Bryan Adams.

However...

Yesterday I heard another song - one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard & immediately my mind changed... all of a sudden I knew that this song was 'THE ONE' All I could think of was my FH & I dancing to it and the tears were pouring down my face like waterworks. It was quite a moment I had

I made my FH sit & listen to it and he agreed that this song was 'the ONE' the words were unbelievable & the song just had so much emotion that never before have I ever imagined our first dance as clear as I did then. So my question is this..... What made you & your FH decide on your song?

ETA: Our new song is 'I belong to You' by Anastasia & Eros Ramazotti (italian singer)

About a year and a half ago my FH and I were in Hawaii for my best friend's wedding. We were in a little store and heard a hawaiian song playing, liked it and bought the CD.

We ended up listening to the CD the ENTIRE time we were in Maui and one of the songs on it was Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Bother Iz... it's the version with the ukalaili (?) in the background, then he goes into a bit of What a Wonderful World. The trip was one of the first big trips my FH took and the song really made the trip that much more special. When we got engaged, there was no question as to the fact that that would be OUR song!!!! And we haven't been tempted to change it at all!!!

We were kicking around different songs, and when we heard it, we just knew, that was for us.

FH calls me at work one day and tells me honey I got 'THE SONG' and he told me what it was and I hadn't heard it so I got the lyrics off the internet and watched the video and I cried at my desk because I couldn't believe he felt that way for me!!!!

My DH and I couldn't agree on a song for month. Once we listened to 'When You Kiss Me' & heard all the words it meant so much to us & we knew that was the one.

I don't think we really had that moment. We were kicking around a few ideas and when we both really like the song, we chose it.

Our wedding song has been 'our song' for 6 years! The first month we were dating FI played this song in the car for me b/c it fit perfectly with our situation at the time. It's 'You Sang To Me' by marc anthony.

I get chills every time I hear it to this day!

Our song is Fascination performed by Nat King Cole. I just heard it and knew. It is very fairytale sounding in the beginning and end, and it's just so pretty. It's about fasination turned to love, and when I first met my FH, I was very intrigued by him. I thought he was a man of mystery and that is what first attracted me to him (that, and his black trench coat that he used to wear and look SO good in). So the song has meaning for me in that way too. But really I just heard the song and had a feeling. I just knew it would be our song.

Our wedding song is 'By Your Side' By Sade. the song just fits us to a tee. Plus everytime we hear it we start to tear up because we just think about our first dance together as husband and wife.

I wanted out song to be Your SOng by Elton JOhn But FH said its kinds a song from him to me so I changed it to Rod Stewart Have I told you lately ( we danced to that song at his cousin's weeding ) and He is going to dedicate the other song to me
