How long after getting engaged did it take for you to start planning the big day?
I waited 4, close to 5 months before planning any thing related to my wedding! I wanted some time to be engaged... but I seriously could not take the nagging questions any longer!
Looking forward to seeing those of you going to the G2G later on today!

Bahaha yeah I got engaged in July and didn't look for or book an RH until December I was definitely not one of those brides that jumped into it. I still feel like I'm taking my time with booking things. I guess I'm a little lazy
We both got engaged in July and we r both getting married in may!!!!

got engaged 12/3. took my time reading books and writing down everything i envisioned. I went to a few shows just to go and look. Booked our hall in feb. then i really started planning!

The same day we were engaged I told FH we need to start talking about the kind of wedding we want. But he said we could wait till next year (we got engaged on Oct 1st). But I think I started planning the next day. The first RH I went to see was sometime in October.
We booked our RH in November.

like a day or two! FH and I knew we were going to get married and I was too scared to wait until after the holidays. I didn't want my number 1 vendors to be booked!
