Kinda funny considering that our proposal wasn't a date! It happened in bed!!! hahaha Anyhow, our best date was when FH took me to the Islanders game when we first started dating and we sat right up close to the glass!!!

ummmm theres too many for me to choose!

most recently tho...

FH met me in the city after I had dinner with a friend

he planned the whole night himself

took me to a rooftop lounge where we had a bottle of wine and snacks, looking out over the city

and then got us an amazing hotel room...
he made me think we were just having a drink at the hotel bar, he said he would be right back

calls me 10 minutes later and tells me to take the elevator up to 5th floor

i get out the elevator and i hear 'our song' playing from the room and he had our song playing, and candles all over the place!

sooooo cute!

ETA: the candles are in the shape of a J and a D

I can't say we've ever had a 'romantic' date. When we first started dating, I had gastritis, had no appetite, and so we didn't eat out much. I am not the flowers, diamonds, lobster girl. Those actually make me wanna puke.
This wasn't a date, but I have wonderful memories when FH brought me camping out at Montauk. We, well he, owns a camper and we camped out on the beach. That I would consider 'romantic' enough! It rained the whole weekend, but being a city girl, it was awesome! He used to try to 'up' himself, but I think that was one of my favorites.

Hmmm ok i havta admit this and i feel bad bc FH has taken me on tons of amazing dates but...

Years ago i was friends w a guy who was madly in love w me. He took me to the city and we went to a reading of land of the dead (long before that piece of crap came out) and introduced me to george romero. (remember halloween fanatic)

I was completely starstruck and it was just amazing to sit down w the legend even if i was a moron and sat there w a stupid grin on my face the entire time lol
