Hair question today.. Im a hair changer and I was just curious.. How does FH like your hair?? short/ long/ dark/ blonde?

I changed my hair all the time because thats what i do for a living lol
but FH loves my hair short and dark .... i love my hair long

Long and blonde! Everytime I cut it or dye it dark he says, 'what did u do to ur hair?'

I've changed my hair A LOT over the years... Supposedly, FH likes when it's blonde (i.e. now) long and straight with waves or big/loose curling iron curls.

When DH and I started dating, my hair was super short, emo-style, dyed blood red.
Then I started to grow it out, but still dyed it red.
Then apricot.
Then I cut it short again, but not super short, and donated it.
Then I grew it out. And dyed it reddish. And then we got engaged, and my hair was sorta long and natural. And it's been like that ever since.
But now, after the honeymoon, I'm going to dye it Julianne Moore-ish red and cut bangs like Zooey Deschanel.
He prefers it long and dirty blond. But I prefer his hair long and he doesn't leave it like that for me, so he can't always get what he wants either.

I've always had dark hair, so I would venture to guess he likes it dark He LOVES it long, and hates when I cut it short. When I did my NW chop, I came home and asked what he thought and his response was 'It'll look better when it grows out.'

DH is always wary. Whenever I tell him I'm going for a cut and color he thinks I'm gonna come back with a blonde pixie cut or something despite the fact that I've had the same long dark red hair for the past 3 years. I experimented with hair color/style a lot in high school and college so now that I've found a color I really like, I'm sticking with it for awhile.
ETA: Funny enough, DH asked me the other day what my natural hair color is. I don't think he's ever seen it- at least not a full head of my natural color hair.

He likes it long and down and when I wear it curly...but I prefer to straighten it.

so funny you mention blonde and pixie cut cause thats what Im planning on doin after the wedding and when I lose all my weight!!! FH is goin to have heart failure!! LOL

as far as color i always have it the same color so DH has no opinion on that
on length he actually likes it longer and I dont...i usually like it shoulder length or just above....when i grew my hair for the wedding DH loved it and i hated it and wanted it chopped as soon as we got back from the HM..

I had old pics of me where I seriously looked butch. Short hair, MUSHROOM cut. I don't know why someone didn't shoot me back then. FH found one of my old pics and begged me to burn it. lol.

he LOVES long hair... long and brunette - not too dark, not too many highlights, somewhere between chestnut and golden brown and down to the middle of my back. I joke about doing the newly chop (even though i know i would never do it) and he freaks out!

it has to be long!! the longer the better, if i get an inch cut off he says its to short!! i have dark brown hair but have been blond for a long time, i thin he liked the blond better.

He loves it straight as long its straight he doesnt really care. Can't be pixie though BAD experience when we first started dating
After the wedding Im chopping it off to a bob and getting it restraightened. Not sure what color though. Right now its reddish.
