I know today is going to be a sad day all over.. and my prayers are with the families that hurt over todays anniversary. I wanted to look back on new beginnings. Hopefully that will bring a little bit of joy to people who are going to be very upset today.
'I’ve kissed a guy... I’ve kissed guys. I just haven’t felt that thing.... That thing... that moment when you kiss someone and everything around you becomes hazy, and the only thing in focus is you and this person. And you realize that that person is the only person you’re supposed to kiss for the rest of your life. And for one moment you get this amazing gift. And you wanna laugh and you wanna cry, ‘cause you feel so lucky that you’ve found it, and so scared that it’ll go away all at the same time.' Drew Barrymore; from the movie 'Never Been Kissed'
This must have been the beginning. That first kiss with FH. Do you remember where you were? Does that place have any significance to you?

Re: QOTD - September 11th
We had our first kiss at the gazebos on Montauk Highway in Bay Shore - they have this adorable little set up (its more Brightwaters - but to me its the same thing) - and that is where we would go all of the time to hang out at night - and where we ended up getting engaged. I am trying to navigate a way for the wedding day to stop there afterwards and have our photographer take pictures of us there

Re: QOTD - September 11th
We had our first kiss as a Halloween Party nearly 5 years ago. We weren't dating yet, but we both had been hanging out and we both like eachother. I really cant remember the exact words but somehow we went somewhere to 'talk' a lil more quieter...and ended up in my friends garage. It was a magical moment.

Re: QOTD - September 11th
We were actually in the parking lot at our church (that's where we met). So our first kiss was very innocent and quick, but I'll remember it forever.. it was so sweet. That night we had out first kiss that wasn't as innocent at a party I had.. lol. At the time I didn't realize just how significant those moments would be......

Re: QOTD - September 11th
Apparently I ruined what was supposed to be our first kiss by jumping out of the car bc I thought he was going to throw water at me. Hahah long story.
So our first kiss didn't happen til almost a month later, bc we were friends for a while so it was a little weird. We went to see the midnight showing of Talladega Nights and when it was over I drove him over to his car and before he got out he kissed me. I just remembering shaving the cheesiest smile on my face the whoooole way home.

Re: QOTD - September 11th
it was in his basement... We had just finished watching High Fidelity, and I had my head on his lap and we just looked at each other, and i knew he wanted to kiss me, but i was nervous (it was my first kiss...ever) and then it happened...and the rest is history!

Re: QOTD - September 11th
it was the first night that we were hanging out as more than just friends. i had just ended my horribel relationship and we KNEW that we were going to start hanging out. So we were cuddling on his bed and i made a joke about him NOT kissing me and he leaned over and kissed me. I have NEVER felt that way before and i knew there was something special about him. I still get butterflies in my stomach when he kisses me.

Re: QOTD - September 11th
our first kiss was actually in his apt. We went back there to watch a movie and it just happened. It was magically - Like Drew's quote!
BTW, IMO, Today should be a national holiday already

at his house, right after the superbowl in 2006. our first date was the night before. i'll never forget the feeling i had, our first kiss must have lasted for 20 mins and we didn't come up for air. ever since then i've become a football fan.

Re: QOTD - September 11th
We waited 2 weeks to kiss. LOL. I know I know. I am a prude. But, we were in his car and I said goodnight- he was dropping me off. And I leaned over and kissed him because he was too shy.
