Good Morning Ladies I want to thank Maggie for passing the crown to me for the week - I just hope that I can do as good a job as her and all of you past BOTWs! I know that I have big shoes to fill (also want to wish FH a very happy birthday today! - as he says - I may be Bride Of The Week - but he is the Birthday Boy of The Week.. I have competition )
Here it is... 'When you realize that you want to spend the rest of your life with a person, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible'
So my question is.. what is the first thing that FH did that just made you realize that he is the man that you were going to marry.. Where were you? What happened? How long after you knew that he was the man that you were going to marry did he propose?

he was kind to our mentally disabled clients when we worked together. i have a serious soft spot for boys who manage to be nurturing in dealing with the weak (i.e. animals, children, etc.)

When I first started talking to FH I was still married . He helped me through so many rough times with my divorce. He has a heart of gold and I knew from when we starting talking that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. My divorce was finalized in January 2008... he would not ask me to marry him until my divorce was finalized ... so in June was when he asked me to marry him ! I knew from day one that he was the one that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with .....so now I have 1 son ( age 8 ) from my first marriage, and he has full custody of his 3 kids ( ages 8, 11 & 12) .... they all call me mom .... we really are one happy family !!!!!!!! I could not ask for anything more in life than next August 8th when I say I DO to the man I want to spend forever with !!!!!!!!!!! I thank my angels each and everyday for him !!!!!!!!!

i don't know if there was a particular moment, it just grew in time. he gets along so well with my family and he is so supportive. when we starting dating i was working as a counselor at an adult community residence. i was really stressed and he was always there for me. i'm finally at a job i really like and i owe that to my FH. he really wants the best for me and i feel the same way about him.

Okay so this makes me cry...
On our like third date, he held me in his arms and told me that I was his little doll. My grandfather called me his 'Pupa' my entire life (doll) so when he said that I realized my grandfather must have sent me my fh. Within a year fh started saying that he could see us old and gray, and actually proposed with a orange juice container first two christmas' ago! lol but I didn't think it would really happen...then in may came the bling lol
