NO! His parents have said some hurtful things to me in the past that I just cant see calling them mom and dad. The hurtful things they said they think were HELPFUL not hurtful! UGH
No I dont. They live 5 hours away so I really only see them 2 or 3 times a year at the most. I don't call them anything really, lol. When I've sent them cards I write their first names.
I don't refer to them as mom and dad either, all though I think they would really want me to, I just don't feel comfortable. Maybe one day.

well FH doesn't even call his stepdad 'dad' so it wouldn't be right for me to. His mom I just call by her first name and I probably won't call her 'mom' either.
I call his parents Mom and Dad now, because of his culture,Nigerian, its rude to call them by their first name. It felt weird in the beginning cause weren't even engaged yet, but know it feels right.

No, I still call his dad Mr. The relationship is kind of weird. His dad is remarried and I call his wife by her first name but he never said I should call him by his first name so I don't. I've never met his mom and I'm not sure if I will. Makes things easier... don't have to worry about having a crazy mother in law!

Yea I fell awkward caling them mom and dad, so i am usually very uncomfortable calling them anything!
