Good morning, fellow brides-to-be! It's almost Friday!! whoohooo!!
Yesterday I was talking to my sister and she told me she is going to start planning my shower next week!! It is going to be a total surprise!
Question: Is your shower going to be a surprise or are you involved in the planning? If you are planning, tell us the details. If its a surprise, how would you plan it if you had your way?? Location, size, theme, etc.
my answer: I would love to have a backyard shower and have it catered by an Italian restaurant, eitehr Piccolo's or La Piazza. Lady and the Tramp is my favorite Disney movie, so I would make that the theme with red and white checkered table clothes and maybe an accordian player! hehe Not possible for me to have a backyard shower though, since the weddings in April the shower is during the winter...oh well!

Mine will be a total surprise!!
If I had the chance to plan it I would like a big shower with all my amazing family and friends there enjoying the special day with me I love butterflies so a butterfly theme would be amazing but whatever it is I am sure it will be fabulous and I cant wait!!!

I am not sure what is going on with my shower. I would like a surprise one. As long as its nice i dont care.

not a surprise and I am helping to plan it. Most of my BP lives OOT so I am finding the restaurant and helping my MOH/sister who lives in FL book it. I will probably have to financially contribute, too. Oh well.

Morning!
Right now the girls hope to surprise me but since my MIL is OOT and always stays with us it may be hard to keep it quiet.
If I had to plan it I would love a cocktail reception with lots of appetizers and maybe some small buffet type of food. Other than that I have no idea how Iwould want the theme/favors, etc to go.

It will definitly be a surprise. A mad hatter party could be fun, but I will be happy with anything.

Mine is not going to be a surprise but I am not planning it.
I actually told my mom and sister about the Library Cafe so I actually may be having my shower there as well (which is totally ok with me since the food looks yummy!).
I do not know if my sister is going to think about doing a theme. For one she is a Yankees fan so I doubrt that she would do anything Mets. And also since we are bringing the Mets into the wedding but she does not know how I am thinking she would stay away from that.

My shower can't be a total surprise since my mom sister, FSILs,FMIL and my girlfriends all live OOT! So I don't think the date and where it's going to be (the state/town at least) will be a surprise but I most likely won't know the extra details of the shower. I'll leave that up to my mom and my MOH's! I don't think it'll have a theme, I just want something simple-a brunch would be great. Bring on the mimosas and pancakes!

I would like for mine to be a surprise, I prefer to have no hand in planning except handing over the guest list! However I'm pretty sure my SIL is going to end up just telling me.

I don't know if mine will be a surprise or not, but I totally want it to be at Main Street Nursery and Florist in Huntington. They have a gorgeous glass gazebo on the grounds which serves as a tea room.

Because mine will most likely e in the summer, I told my sister (MOH) that I would like to know when it is but everything else can be a surprise. I'm hoping my man of honor will be able to make it since he is OOT.
I'm not a fan of these showers beig a surprise! Everyone knows they are getting it. I just hate showers all together lol. So boring!!!! I just want to have good food, good drinks, and that's it! Quick and easy. And if there are games I want ones that are fun and unique and not stupid haha. My siste already knows that I am the one to not go the norm lol.. So we will see!!

i def. want to know when mine is and help in planning however i dont think it will fly with my mom. Id like it to be in a restaurant and my only request is a private room! im not a fan of showers in the middle of a restaurant.
