QOTD Thurs. October 21

If you could go back and do one thing differently during the wedding planning process - what would you change?

I would have gone to many many more dress places and tried on more dresses.

I probably would have done that too....and looked at more than one photographer too....and tried not to spend so much money!

1) I would have been VERY specific with my DJ. He did a bunch of stuff that kinda ruined my wedding for me a bit (ex. cutting my wedding song short, cutting my father/daughter short, announcing my DH's name as 'Orlando' when its 'Omar'...)

2) Even though I loved my dress in the end...I probably would have shopped around more and got something that was lighter in weight and Ivory.

3) Remember to ask my photographer for pics with certain people. You get so busy and wrapped up in the whole day that its easy to forget stuff like this.

I am sure I can think of more things for later!!!

ETA..woops, you said one thing!!! I was on a roll. If I could only pick 1...I'd stick to my #1, its bothered me the most since the wedding

I would have not picked so many things out so far in advance. I ended up changing my mind a lot about little details... and I would have spent a lot less on invitations and NOT used the vendor I worked with. Other than that... I don't think I would have changed anything...

My dress....I would have picked a style didn't crush my ribs and made me feel like I was going to faint

I would've had a smaller BP.

ETA: I also would've gotten video for our ceremony. Everything else I would've kept exactly the same.

I would have definitely tried on a lot more dresses and I would have checked out more RH's. We looked at a bunch but the one we initially booked didn't hold up on their end and we kind of settled with something we didn't love

The only thing I can think of is having them bring us up more food from CH. The pics of the food looked amazing and while we did sample some of it, I would have loved to try even more.
