Do you have any regrets about your planning so far? Are you second guessing your vendors or your date or your BP?

I think I have 2nd guessed everything except my florist. I booked everything so early so I could get 2009 rates that I really didnt take the time to look around. I do feel I have great vendors and I feel I got great deals but I just wonder.......

As far as my BP, the only person I have 2nd guessed and have since eliminated was my MOH. My other girls are great and have really been there. Although I havent really asked for any help because i am a control freak and feel I have to do everything myself, they have offered.

good question, the only thing im concerned with is my dj package, we booked all kinds of lights and they are kinda big and bulky, and when we were at the showcase we thought they looked cool but we didnt think about it in terms of our hall, i dont really know if what we have is appropriate for a mansion. Well see, we might try to change our package, but i did a lot of research on my vendors so i made sure to pick ones i would be happy with, so far i still am!

I second guessed everything for a day or so , so far lmao!!! I just wonder if I'm getting the best prices, haha now fh just books things without asking me so I don't ponder it for days n days lol

I have second-guessed my RH...it's not as fancy as some of the other places and it is kind of small. Sometimes I wished I would've looked around a little more...

I'd feel awful if I told her I didn't her in the BP

I am the most indecisive person ever, so I second guessed my decisions before I even booked anyone. I flip flop about everything, but so far, once I have things booked and deposits paid, no regrets.

I've 2nd guessed our date, but that's because it was our 2nd choice....well, actually 10th, as we've changed our date (and location) at least 9 times before so it's weird having a date that actually has stuck!

Our original dates, in order of how we chose them:

10/10/10 was the first date we thought of when we started planning. We wanted a big party in Central Park or Upstate with about 500 people. Then we looked at our wallets...

6/5/10, we were going to get married at a conference for our industry because it's a big part of who we are. We knew the organizers and were going to have a free reception. But then our family about kicked our butts because they didn't want to fly to LA.

7/17/10, tent wedding near the Bates House in the Setauket Bird Sanctuary by the bamboo where we fell in love. Mom had to work and could not get anyone to cover.

7/24/10, same as above, better date for mom. Put down a deposit here, but they gave it back when we canceled.

12/08/09, we were cast in a TLC show called Married in Manhattan. We were given 2 weeks notice to get the ceremony of our dreams. This was one of the dates we had to be available. Show was canceled before filming. We were going to get married in a helicopter flying over NYC!

12/15/09, same as above.

1/6/10, same as above.

7/24/11, realized financially we had to postpone the wedding, so opted for the same date.

5/26/11, wanted to move the date earlier so that it didn't conflict with FH's sister's wedding in October. Outdoor area was booked at Chateau Briand.

and finally 5/5/11, we gave them money!!!!

Oh and this doesn't include the countless times we've wanted to just elope!
Geez. No wonder I'm exhausted!

And, I guess I've 2nd guessed my dress, but that's because I bought it for the 7/24/10 date and it was only $250! But, every time I put it on I love it.

That's pretty much the way I am. Especially with the hall at first, but now I'm really happy that we booked where we did. At first I was thinking maybe we should've done Giorgio's. But it was a little out of the budget and WCC is absolutely beautiful. Plus we fell in love with WCC first. We also took our time deciding. No regrets as of now.
