Who are you going to have come with you try on wedding gowns? If you already went, who did you go with and how did it work out? Why did you choose to bring the people you chose?
My Answer: I'm probably going to go with my Mom, Grandmother, 2 MOHs and FMIL. Not sure if that's too many people to bring, but those people are indispensable to me!

i went with my mother and sister.... although one of my best friends who is getting married 2 months after me went on the same day soo she was there also. as well as her mom and FMIL

i plan on going with my mother, MOH (sister), and a bridesmaid who is best friend. If my grandmother is in the country, she will come too since she is paying for the dress!
I want my dress to be a surprise, so I only want the minimum people there!

The first time I ever went my sister (MOH) and mom came.
The second time, which is when I bought the dress, I went w/o any itentions of buying a dress at the running of the brides. I went w/ my other sister (MOH) who found the dress for me. It was so random and so not what I wanted but I couldn't say no.
I'm going again this summer for a second dress and I plan on bringing my MOH's, mom, FSIL and FMIL

I went with my mom, my little cousin who is my junior bridesmaid, and my best friend who is one of my maid of honors.
Then I went back with my aunt and grandma to show it off again.
And after I had put the deposit down I brought my FMIL and FSIL.
and I plan on visiting the dress with each one of my bridesmaids so they can see it too!! lol

the very first time i went it was mom, grandma and my moh....it was the best group for me to have there and i am so happy they were there with me!
then it was a switch up btwn me and mom...me, mom and grandma etc etc....
everything worked out great! i did get a little overwhelemed the day i ordered the dress with my mom and grandma there.....grandma works in the bridal business ans wanted to speak to the seamstress herself and so on...so i was a bit overwhelemed...

I went with my Mom, Grandma, Aunt, and cousin last time.
I plan on going a few more times.
I'll bring my Mom everytime, and I know I need to bring my FMIL at least once.

I went with my mother, just to look, but I actually found my dress!!!! I wish that everyone else was there for that moment, but that is how it happened. Believe me I have made up for it, I have brought all my family and friends to see it on me!!!!!

when i go, my mom and sister (MOH) will be there. i don't want a ton of people giving their input lol...I see that on say yes to the dress and i'm like omg, i could never deal with that!

First and only time I went I brought: My Mom, Both Grandma's, 2 friends (my MOH is in NY, I'm in AZ).
It went great! My parents are divorced about 5 years and this is the first time that my mom and my mom's mom were with my dad's mom. We all use to be so close, so it was an amazing experience to have them all there together again. They got along like they always did. You would never have known that they hadn't seen each other in years. My girlfriends had a blast too and were all so helpful. They all agreed on the dress that I bought. They all had the same reaction to it.

First store, where I was just looking to get an idea of what looked good but didn't want to buy there: brought mom and sister.
Second store, where I found but did not purchase 'the dress': brought Mom, sister, and grandma (who wound up paying for the dress so wanted to include her).
Third store, where I wound up buying the dress I found at store #2 but wanted to try more on still: brought Mom, FMIL and FSIL. HUGE MISTAKE!!! Tons of drama went down with FMIL and FSIL, they got 'lost' for like 2 hours while they were within blocks of the store the whole time, it TOTALLY ruined my whole dress buying experience. I was super stressed and upset and angry.
Serious advice: if you have people like this in your life, where things could get complicated and stress you out, don't include extra people. If I could go back in time I would have done all my dress shopping with just my mom and my sister if she was available. Mom was always on the same page as me.

The very first time, I went with my mom and my sister (MOH). Afterwards, I decided to try on dresses after my BMs tried on theirs. That day I had my mom, her best friend and my 2 BMs who stayed (1 left because she had to leave after the dress thing).
I loved what I tried on and I have my favorite. But I want to bring my grandmother. I am the first grandchild to get married and I want her to experience the dress fun!
