Who are you going to have come with you try on wedding gowns? If you already went, who did you go with and how did it work out? Why did you choose to bring the people you chose?
My Answer: I'm probably going to go with my Mom, Grandmother, 2 MOHs and FMIL. Not sure if that's too many people to bring, but those people are indispensable to me!

I plan on bringing my mom, my nana, my 2 aunts, my cousins (who are in the BP), and my BM and MOH.
DB is going to need a lot of dresses bc my mom and nana are VERY opinionated LOL. My wedding is next april, so I figure I'll go sometime around august. Hopefully shed some pounds before then

I have already went dress shopping (one time) and I brought my MOH and Ness83 (BM).
Ness and I both tried on wedding dresses and MOH and Ness tried on BM dresses
MOH is my fashion stylist I plan on going this wedding in NJ (fingers crossed) and if so I will take my SIL and MOH
They though I was crazy because I had the color scheme of the flower with me. I printed up a small picture of the flowers and made them carry it with the dress on to see if it goes.

Well, have to bring FMIL since she's paying for the dress, but FSIL, and BM are also coming along. My dad will come too if he can make it to the city when I'm going

For the first time I am going to go with my mom and my sister and maybe my cousin. I don't want too many people around. As I start to narrow it down I will bring other people....like FMIL

When I tried on wedding gowns, I just had my mother and sister there. It worked out fine. I get frustrated when too many different opinions get thrown at me so the fewer people the better for me

For the first round (3 stores and about 30 dresses), I just went with my mom and sister. Once I was 99.9% sure I had found my dress, I went with my mom, 2 sisters (MOH & BM) and 3 other BMs to make the final decision.... Even with already knowing which dress I was getting, having that many opinions flying was overwhelming!! But that's just me....

The first time I went with my mom and sister.
The second time (when I got my dress), I went with my mom, my good friend (BM), and my friend's mom.
It worked out well. I liked having their opinions. My friend cried when I came out with the dress I bought.
Then when I knew that was the one, my sister, little cousin (FG), and dad came up to the store to see me in it.

The first time i go it will just be my mom and grandma.. my mom doesnt think anyone else should be there with us. Then maybe after i pick one and before i order it i will bring my MOH and 2 BM just to get there opinon

I brought just my immediate family. My mom, sisters, brother and dad. My sistes are both my MOHs and my brother is a groomsmen so they are all in the wedding. I chose them because they know me. They know to give their opinion when it's asked for lol.

Everytime I've been dress shopping (with the exception of one time and that wasn't even 'true' dress shopping) my mother was always with me. As far as the other people, I never brought more than 2 people with me at a time and those varied between my MOHs, other BMs, and my grandma. I chose to not have so many people come with me at one time because that is just too many opinions flying around and it would make me lose sight of who's opinion really matters - mine. And the people I did choose to bring with my I brought because they truely give me their honest opinions and would let me know if something just didn't look right on me.
Now that I am have chosen my dress and made an appt. to order on April 24th, I am now going to bring my whole entourage to show them the dress, which will include:
My Mom My 2 MOHs My 3 BMs FMIL My other grandma who hasn't seen it My aunt (who begged me to let her come LOL) My SIL
I am still going to try on a few more dresses while I am there just to play dress up one more time, but I'm bringing them to show them the dress before ordering.

I'm only bringing my best friend and MOH. Fantasia Bridal told me I could take pics when I explained I needed to show my Mom, FMIL and FH's aunts.
Once I find a dress I love, I'll take my Mom back...maybe lol

i went with my mom and my sister. i didn't want a whole entourage with me. It was easier this way and I think it really was a special mother-daughter moment

I brought my mom, my 2 sisters (MOH), a close family friend (2nd mom haha) and one of my BMs who got married this year. They are my best friends/closest family..wouldn't have done it any other way! Definitely a little bit of a crowd, but who cares! It's your dress...you can have anyone you want there!

I took my mother with me, my MOH and my grandmother. I did not want to many opinions. I took my mom everytime i went which was a few. My maid of honor came with me one time. My grandmother came twice and when I found THE DRESS. My grandmother came back to the bridal shop with my mom to order!! To many opinions isn't good. I think once you find the dress it is nice to bring more people to see it!
