***QOTD Thursday 5/3***

6 months from today I marry the man of my dreams!!

The past few days I feel like everyone has been annoying me with stupid questions. Which leads me to today's QOTD:

What is the most annoying or stupid question you get asked about your wedding?

Why are you having such a long engagement?
This is my favorite one! Do people know how much a wedding costs? I mean it would be nice if our parents were paying for it and I could have a short engagement but it takes time to save up all that money when you don't have help.

I have to say when are you getting married? I was like we just got engaged relax people!!! But I did take my time! Now that I am close people are like are you excited? I'm like no I'm nervous and everyone ruined this for me that I don't even want to get married!! Haha that usually throws people off!!!

'Are you excited for your wedding?' It pisses me off for so many reasons #1: DUH, #2: It perpetuates the psychological idea that the wedding is the end all be all, which it is not. I do not want the wedding equivalent of post-pardem (sp?) depression once it's over, so how about you ask me about other things going on in my life, so as not to imply that once the wedding is over, my life will be too. UGH! I usually reply 'Yes, but I'm more excited for the marriage.' Passive-agressive, no?
