In the beginning my mom started off making planning a living hell but she has been 'too busy' to even help me with anything. FMIL annoys me about the planning quite a bit too - like this past weekend she asked me about my colors 10x's and the favors 6x's. I was getting very annoyed.
If i HAD to pick someone who has been the most helpful . . . besides you girls, I guess FH b.c no one else has really been doing much to help me with anything.

well, i don't think anyone is in as extreme a category as those listed (i.e. 'living hell' and 'dream'). my FMIL has been surprisingly supportive, offering money toward things (including MY dress, which is crazy to me) and always showing an interest in the planning. my MOH was a little difficult to deal with for a time, but she's come around and i really love sharing the planning with her.
Mom had been very difficult b/c of the types of gowns shes envisioning herself wearing... Shes also battled me on the officiant, not having a chruch ceremony, parts of my ceremony like sand ceremony (which she insists on callin sand art) and numerous other things that i cant think of at the moment... oh yea, and every gown i like, she doesnt ....
FH has made the playing a piece of cake! Hes like... you do whatever you want...

FH and I are doing everything ourselves, so I give ourselves a pat on the back for making this a dream! lol.
Who has made it difficult? Some of the obnoxious vendors we have met with. FH and I have come out of some meetings so annoyed! I haven't really told my stories on this board because I don't want to name names (especially for one photography studio because a lot of people use them here).

My mom has been difficult because she wants me to change the color of my BM dresses so she can wear it and she isn't involved with any aspect of the wedding since she lives very far away from me.
My FMIL has been helpful because she is actually excited to be involved in any way. She watches wedding shows with me and is always asking me questions/giving her opinion on the weddings.

hmmm no one really has caused hell.........everyone has just been so great about everything
at first it was my parents...cause they wanted us to wait...but they came around and we are having the wedding of our dreams....

1st part: No one in particular has really made planning difficult.
2nd part: My parents are making wedding planning a dream come true because they're footing the bill and not really limiting us at all.

Bad: My aunts (they are waaay too involved, the whole too many cooks)
Good: My Dad (for making this event possible and buffering any disagreement btwn my mom and I)

As of now there isn't anyone who has made planning difficult. Everyone is helpful.

so far no one has made my wedding planning a living hell. i really hope it stays that way.
the one person who has been great is my Mom. she is so supportive and is very helpful. another person is my MOH. she is always there for me.

Oy! Well this topic really brings tears to my eyes bc up until this week, no one has been a negative impact on my experience...
I have been toying with bring this up on here and I may in another post, I just need to let it calm down a little but :
Hell: no one until Mom this week....this week has been really hard and I am so confused about what is going on
Dream: My parents have actually given us EVERYTHING we want and like I said, until this week I would hav esaid them...funny how a week can change everything ...but hopefully this will pass... Anthony, my FH, has been a dream though...in everyway! I think that I have fallen even more in love with him as each day goes by... its nuts! Even as sad, annoyed, confused, and aggrevated as I am, thinking of him makes me smile
