I wanted a Sunday in the Fall, but with him being a teacher and Football Fanatic (literally!), he was completely against a wedding on a Football Sunday. He said it was 'rude' to do to guests. lol
Summer was a better option in general, except the risk of dying from heat.
This sounds like something my fiance would say lol.

I have to laugh because we are getting married on a Sunday in October and FH was concerned about football too, he asked (still haven't figured if he was kidding or serious) if the TV in the RH could play the games
There is a tv in the bridal suite of the RH where my stepbrother got married. We literally had to drag my brother out of the room on multiple occasions because he kept going back to check in on the game!

We're still in total disagreement. He still tells people we're looking at the Bellagio in Vegas. I immediately shut down the destination idea because both his father and my step-dad refuse to fly. Of course my crazy mom keeps encouraging him by mentioning that the Bellagio is really nice, and that she loved Vegas ... We'll see who wins, if it was a Vegas bet I'd put my money on me

I don't want kids there and FH wants his cousins' children to attend... I think it is totally inappropriate to have children at a 7:00pm ceremony on a weekday...nor do I want the kids crowding my amazing (and amazingly EXPENSIVE....) photobooth, or taking all my flip flops, etc.... I am putting a lot of energy and thought into things for the adults and do not want kids to be in the way!! This disagreement has yet to be solved!!!!

We disagreed over the hall. I wanted Giorgios or East Wind, but he said it was too far for his Brooklyn family. They said it wasn't a problem, but he was adamant.

The cake. He wanted red velvet but I'm not as huge a fan so to compromise I may get him a grooms cake made of red velvet.

I wanted a specialty car so we would have some time to spend together on the way to the reception. I would have been fine with just a regular car, or even taken a taxi!! I just want to be able to spend a couple of quiet moments with him.
He felt our obligation was to our family, friends & bridal party and making them happy.
We decided to just do one big escalade to fit everyone.
Two weeks later, he spoke to a friend of his that works in the limo business and something his friend told him made him change his mind..
So now we have a car for us and the escalade for our parents and bridal party..
i win!
To be honest, I'm glad he reconsidered, but I admit I was upset that he needed someone else's opinion beside mine to change his mind..
