Hello Ladies Good morning, So lets talk little bundles of joy!! Are you getting Baby pressure? If so from who? (FMIL, Your mom, FH)
OR do you have baby fever?
For me my mom is banking for us to have a honeymoon baby!! right now Fh and I are definately not ready we dont have a house yet and he is still trying to find a job, FMIL always says she is not ready to be a grandma, we think in another year or so when we are on our feet well start talking about it more seriously!

No pressure from anyone and we are not feeling the urge to have one either....we are going to be 30 and we both have not had a twinge of baby fever so I dont know if it will ever happen.

I think his mom really wants us to have one. The other night we were at a party with her and FH asked if I wanted to drink. So I told him to get me whatever he was getting. He was joking and said vodka it is. His mom then started clapping and said 'maybe I'll get a grand daughter out of this' thinking FH would get me drunk and then comes baby.!

we didn't have ANY pressure from anyone - mostly b/c they knew that we wanted to have kids right away. we both wanted to be younger starting a family and we also didn't know if we could get prego right away. well.... that was not the case! HAHA
as we are realizing, you will NEVER be 100% financially/mentally/emotionally ready. you just have to do what feels right.

Im 38 and will be 39 when I get married. We are going to wait 6 months or so to solidify our relationship. We some time alone.
Then I will go off BC and see what happens.

We are TTC shhhh.....
We both have had the fever even before getting married. There is no pressure from my parents, my dad says 'Don't do yourselves any favors?' And my mom just keeps saying to ppl who ask her not for a while they just moved into a 1BR apt. Besides that she doesn't really say anything about it. She did tell me last week not to gain too much weight when I get pregnant, bc it is really hard to loose. We were looking through someone who just had a baby's photos. As for MIL she is always saying well you want to have a baby soon, even when we were just engaged she would pick up little baby shoes and ask if it was wrong to purchase them now. No pressure there FIL doesn't say much about anything so.

I went off the pill last month.. and fh is not a fan of other methods of bc if you know what i mean... so whatever happens, happens
he wants to wait however.. but i have the itch!!

FYi... everyone kept saying since we got home that they had a honeymoon baby on accident, I am on the pill but one morning we got up at 5am for a sail cruise, were gone all day and I forgot to take it until late at night. I was worried. I felt strange yesterday and I felt nauseous today, (while I was typing my first answer to this question.) I started freaking out a little... but thankfully my body told me it was A-OK this evening. So happy to get it. I need a job first.
