There’s no denying it -- all this wedding glamour is pricey and setting a realistic wedding budget now is whats going to save you from a nasty shock on your wedding day. But sometimes things happen or you probably want your dream wedding to be a certain way so budgets may get blown or unrealistic financial practices were not followed as promised .....
If you and FH were strapped for cash near the wedding or an emergency occurs during planning, what elements of the wedding can you simply live without??? ( eg limo, flowers)
I would cut first, favors, uplighting, harpist, intelligent lighting, linen rentals, less limos, no videographer, percussionist.
I love flowers so I will not cut those but I would not have any flowers in the church , nothing for flower girls
also definitely steeldrums @ cocktail hour because the dj guarentees 5 hrs of music regardless of wether we need them for cocktail hour or not, just incase the entertainment for cocktail hour is running late or is a no show.
Id do very basic flowers and prob cut out the lighting features...but FH said he could chip in if we went over-budget so I dont think we would be in that situation..
I'd probably cut the limo, flowers, and favors. I might talk with my DJ and photographer and see if they could help me in that type of situation. (Can't hurt to ask)...
I would def do without the flowers and favors. I would prob cut down the DJ package and mayb no limos were just having them take us to the church then ceremony so it wouldnt be that big a deal.
me too!! only joking... i would def cut back on flowers & decor.. my flower/decor budget is crazyyy!! i lovee flowers & lightening at weddings... nice touch
