So, most people talk about the reception. I want to know where your ceremony will be and how do you plan to decorate it?

Our ceremony will be at our church St. Patrick's in Bay Shore. It remind me of a cathedral in Little Italy that I love. It's tall and the details are amazing and if you have been on my FB page you have seen it. I don't think I am going to decorate a lot at all. I think I just want white swags along the pews with some flowers when you first walk in and that's a bout it because the church is so ornate but when I walk in I want it to be two arrangements on both sides and me in the middle! I know the ceremony is going to be my favorite part of the whole day!!

I'm getting married at St. Pat's in Bay Shore too It's my parish & I went to school across the street (my mom still works there). I don't think we are really going to do anything to the church other than bring two vases of sunflowers to put on either side. It's such a beautiful church & I don't want to take anything away from it. Plus they don't allow you to have too much stuff anyway lol

We are getting married at the hall. I'm not a huge flower person, so I figured with our wedding in Feb, it would be nice to give it a wintery feel. My mom went out and bought dozens of different snowflakes and mapped out where to hang them--she's insane! But it's going to look sooo awesome!

I want simple, classic, pretty decorations, and am hoping to be able to do some DIY for the huppah

We are getting married at St Aidans in Williston Park. I'm not decorating it because I really don't need to. We both grew up attending this church and it is gorgeous on its own.

My ceremony will be at the RH in a tent. I'm going to be draping tulle and hanging lights from the ceiling to give it a starry night type of feel to it...lots of candles and lots of flowers on the chuppah!!

My ceremony will be at my RH. I'm praying for good weather so it can be outside. I plan on decorating it with some flower arrangements and tuille. The scenary outside of the VYC is beautiful I do not need to decorate it too much.

Also getting married at St. Pat's in Bayshore. Neither of us had a strong connection to any church since he and I moved away from the churches we were baptized/confirmed at. We wanted to find a church that would be ours and my knees got weak the first time I walked in that church. It's absolutley beautiful! We're not doing anything besides pew bows because they'll still have it decorated for Christmas.

St.Ignatius. That's where all of FHs family went so we thought it would be nice to keep the tradition. I'm getting white lanterns and putting a ribbon so they hang from the pews.

I will be having my ceremony at my RH, Douglaston Manor, squeezing in the ceremony and cocktail hour as the sun sets.

It's a brick patio with a sculpted garden overlooking the Manhattan skyline. We'll have a black metalwork sort of covering, that I want decorated with lot sof green and some white flowers.

I'm totally clueless on the chairs - which will be the white plastic lawn chairs (my least favorite part of the venue - ugh). I was considering covering the aisle with fresh rose petals... but any ideas to make the chairs cuter would be so appreciated

Our ceremony is at a church (St. Philip Neri in Northport).... it's beautiful as is, so I figure the only decorations will be flowers/bows for the pews!

we're getting married at the venue, too - hopefully outside so the location can speak for itself, but otherwise Fox Hollow decorates indoors and out. Not particularly a bright white kind of person, but it's simple and I don't have to do anything myself!

Im getting married at Trinity Lutheran in hicksville, and we arent really allowed to decorate that much. the church asks for a donation and they provide flowers, you can pick from 3 or 4 different arrangements and they set them all up for you. They ask that its not overly decorated and keep to the main reason, the marriage

My ceremony will be Mary's Nativity Church. I plan to use pew bows with flowers and maybe a couple of stands of flowers.
