So, most people talk about the reception. I want to know where your ceremony will be and how do you plan to decorate it?
Our ceremony will be at our church St. Patrick's in Bay Shore. It remind me of a cathedral in Little Italy that I love. It's tall and the details are amazing and if you have been on my FB page you have seen it. I don't think I am going to decorate a lot at all. I think I just want white swags along the pews with some flowers when you first walk in and that's a bout it because the church is so ornate but when I walk in I want it to be two arrangements on both sides and me in the middle! I know the ceremony is going to be my favorite part of the whole day!!

My ceremony is going to be at St. Marys in East Islip. Prob just decorate it with bows and a few flowers. Its my church and it's very small and intimate so I don't want to overburden it with decorations.

My ceremony will be at the RH in a tent. I'm going to be draping tulle and hanging lights from the ceiling to give it a starry night type of feel to it...lots of candles and lots of flowers on the chuppah!!

We are getting married at our reception hall. The only decorations will be what is included in the ceremony fee. I don't want to spend extra $$ on stuff for a 20 min ceremony.

Not sure where we are getting married. My mother wants us to get married in a church but FH and I haven't been to church since confirmation really. Because of that I feel kind if weird getting married in a church. But if I get married at my venue I don't like that there is no time between the ceremony and cocktail hour and I want sometime between them. UGH!

I'm also getting married at St. Pat's in Bay Shore. It's FH's parish even though he hasn't been there since his confirmation. My church is St. Mary's in East Islip and Our Lady of Lourdes in West Islip. FH really wanted to get married there, so that's where we will be and I'm very happy about it.

We are getting married at the venue. It will be outside so the trees and flowers will be all the decoration we need. I might add some flowers to the archway we get married under. But thats it.
