Yesterday you all had such lovely answers. We really do have amazing FH's!
For today's questions I noticed that the deeper we get into wedding planning we are starting to have more vents and rants.
Who has been giving you the most stress about your wedding or annoying you?
For me I would have to say my mother because she is just so uninvolved in the whole process. We don't have a good relationship so I was hoping the wedding could kind of break the barrier a bit. Totally not working. Whenever I talk about my wedding plans she interrupts and talks about her wedding. Basically my mom just wants to point out her traditional style of doing things and doesn't want to hear about my 'modern' wedding. I just wish she would be excited about my big day instead of always reminiscing on hers.
I would have added one of my BM's on this list but she started cleaning up her act realizing she is not the one getting married.

The most stress would have to be my parents. They got seperated after over 30 years a few weeks after me getting engaged. My father is just not involved at all- he will ask ?s here & there but has better things on his mind I guess. Me & my mom didn't get close until the last few years-don't get me wrong she has always been there but I was more of a daddy's girl. Unfortunately most of the time when I try to speak about the wedding the conversation switches to the seperation but I think maybe in the last week she is starting to turn around (atleast I hope).

Right now, one of my BM is driving me crazy. She's planning my engagement party down on LI, and she gives me a daily update with who has RSVP'd. Half the time, nothing has changed, and she's like 'oh no RSVPs today!!' Agh, they still have 2 weeks, tell me then!!
And I also asked her to do one tiny thing for me, and she hasn't done that, and it's driving me crazy

probably my MOH/sister. I cant even get into all of it but she has been making some very selfish comments and I am potentially not having a bridal shower, unless she decides to act as a MOH should act.
Christina - I feel you on the uninvolved mother. Mine is the same.

My parents are absolutely amazing and so helpful and are contributing a lot for our wedding. However, because they're contributing they have a say and they have their own opinions. They're incredibly traditional people and some of the ideas they have don't line up with mine. They don't understand some the things we want or why we're doing them. It's a work in progress and we're all learning, but my dad is just a little too opinionated in general and it's getting into wedding planning. I've already cried a few times because of conversations with them...
My FMIL is also a bit of a nutcase, but she's stayed out of the planning for the most part. The obnoxious part is her continuing to tell FH how she has to remind herself she's not the mother of the bride this time. She wants in on everything but I'm not looping her in as much as she'd like. We're still in the beginning stages, so who knows what will happen.

I have to say originally it would be my mom but she really has calmed down about things so I am thankful for that.
I really have have support from everone which is nice.

the budget and my FMIL lol
She finally agreed to help us with the wedding (my family got hit really bad when the market crashed and are struggling so I dont expect anything from them) BUT I agreed to have a Catholic Priest and to have my wedding on Long Island even though all ym family and friends are in Orlando, Florida.
She finally agreed to help pay for her huge family and now we had to upgrade back to our original larger room at the RH.
That means no more round tables - so I just had to re-design my entire floral design because the tables are long and oval and wont look good with my original design. I do event design so the floral is THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect of my wedding to me over everything else.
Its been a long and frustrating week.
PS: thanks for posting this question, was a wonderful outlet to vent it all out :)

I am very happy to say- no one! my friends/family are super supportive of my ideas & planning- which I am very grateful as I know from some of girls, that sometimes its the people closest that give the most stress...so far its been smooth sailing

So far nobody!!!!! But thats because I chose to keep alot of my wedding planning to myself and mother. I feel like when you share a lot of things with ppl, they will always throw their 2cents and give opinions that you might not like. I feel as the wedding gets closer, this will tremendously change. But for now its been smooth sailing.
