Going to my RH yesterday got me really excited (again) and I thought 'wow. I'm getting MARRIED here'. Every day it sinks in a little more! That being said, today's question is.............
If someone had told you that you were going to eventually marry your FH on the day you met, how would you have reacted?

I probably wouldn't have believed them. We met at our college's freshman orientation and were friends throughout school. He didn't even ask me out until a year and a half after graduation.

We first met in middle school and no way was he my dream prince back then. I wouldn't even go to prom with him when his friends begged me to. So there is no way I would even think of marrying him. When we re-met years later I knew by the end of the night.

When we met I was recently out of a bad relationship. I was so in love with someone that I thought was more than what he was capable of being. I didn’t want to even date for a while. I thought FH was adorable but I felt so broken at the time that if someone said that I would’ve rolled my eyes and ran. We would just hang out with mutual friends a few times and then we exchanged phone numbers and began talking, and talking, and talking for hours a night. A few months in we were inseperable and then I knew it was different, unlike anything I’ve ever known!

The day I met FH we took a walk on the boardwalk at Jones Beach before his softball games. I ended up staying for his games and meeting his cousin who was on the team. FH was being a bit showy in the outfield and playing well so his cousin said to me, 'wow he must really like you, he never plays this well! you two are gonna get married aren't you?'
I blushed and smiled because while I didn't know for sure, I did have a really good feeling about him based on our first date/meeting.
So, while I don't claim it was love at first sight, if someone told me for sure, I would definitely have believed them.

No, I wouldn't have believed them. I was 20 and a wild child, not even close for marriage!

I would have been surprised to know that we would one day marry. Not that I did not have a connection with him at first, I was just not looking for something so serious at that time in my life. I guess it really does happen when you least expect it.
