Good Morning ladies! Hope this rainy morning has not gotten you down! My shoes are wet and my hair does not look so hot, but I am alive and well
QOTD - As a child/teen/young adult, did you dream of your wedding day or the person you would marry? If so, what did you dream?
I did not dream of a wedding day. I never really thought I would get married, especially by the time I turned 30 and was still single. I can say, life happens while you are busy making plans (as they say!) and I am so glad it 'happened' to me.

The only thing that I ever remember 'dreaming' about is when I was at a wedding when I was 10, I heard the Song, 'Keeper of the Stars' and since that day I have said that that song WILL be part of my wedding. I am thinking we will ahve it during our unity candle lighting.

When I was younger I would actually imagine my dress. Im into art and id find myself doodling dress designs even though I was single.
As I got older id imagine what kind of guy id marry. Then once I fell in love with my guy is when I started picturing all the details of the day even though I didn't have a ring

as a child, I never really dreamed of my own wedding day... I knew I loved watching my family members wedding videos- but I know I don't remember ever thinking 'hmm, I wonder who I am going to marry..?' Even as like a teenager, then college...I though it was going to be a bit later, like when I'm 30, not 26...but I couldn't be happier now

YES!!! I always dreamed about my wedding day. I never knew who I would marry but I always had a picture in my head of what I wanted. In H.S. I used to cut class with my friend and we would go back to her house and watch a Wedding Story on TLC lol.

I didn't grow up dreaming of my wedding day. Not that I didn't think I would get married, I just wasn't that little girl who had a picture of what this special day and that special person would look like.
Now that I've found him, I am extremely happy to be marrying my best friend.

I think I always dreamed about marring Chris O'Donnell after seeing Mad Love, or Mark Walburg in Fear (i stilll dream of him tho lol) I think that was as far as I went into the whole dreaming about my wedding LOL
I never stopped looking at dresses tho, they were always soo pretty, especially since klienfeilds was in bay ridge I would always walk by and look. But never really thought of MYSELF in one, I still cant imagine I will actually be wearing one LOL

I never really dreamt about my wedding ... but I did do this:
One of my friends (Melissa you will probably know exactly who lol) had a pool day at her condo and then we ended up watching 'The Secret'. So we decided afterwards that we needed to make vision boards and ran to Michael's to get supplies. I cut out pictures of engagement rings, wedding rings, a cute groom and bride, a beautiful home, babies, etc.
Several months later I met my fiance and now it has all become more of a reality! I kept the vision board all this time and FH hung it up in our office when we got our new place a few months ago :)

I definately never dreamed of getting married, in fact even with FH i wasn't sure it was something I wanted or was ready to do. I definately know he is the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with but I've never been the type of person to sit around waiting to get a ring and imaging the wedding.
I do know I have pictures of myself as a very young girl playing bride and marrying my neighbor, lol but I think I just liked playing dress-up.

I can agree to that! I did dream of marrying plenty of celebrities. I was and obviously still am obsessed with the whole princess finding her prince. Endless dreams about a prince rescuing me and taking me away. Sailor Moon was definitely a big part of my day dreams. I was hoping that just like the main character I would meet my husband at 16 and live happily ever after and with an asian guy (very into anime and japan). Now FH isn't asian, but he looks it so I win!!!!

I didn't really dream about getting married growing up. I wanted to stay as far away from the whole thing as I could. I realize now it's because I hadn't met the right person yet.
It all fell into place and I knew what I wanted when FH and I met. I knew I loved him at 6 months and would have definitely said yes if he had proposed then. I didn't picture our wedding until we really started getting to know each other.
I had a guest list and song list already written out the April before he proposed. I kept it at work so he wouldn't find it and laugh at me for being so silly.
