I know this may hit a spot with many women but.....

Did your FMIL change once you got engaged?

My FMIL actually got a little nicer after we told her we were getting married. I think she finally realized that I wasnt going anywhere. I honestly think she is being phony but I am dealing with it.

Nope. I always got along great with her. If anything we're even closer now since I am going to be part of the family.

she is pretty much about the same. She was always nice and they lovee me because I was really good for the hubby. I kept him out of trouble.

She's been just as nice. No changes from her. My mom on the other hand has been SOOOOO sweet to FH after we got engaged. FH won BIG points with her for proposing when when we bought our house - she really didn't love the idea of us living together without a ring.

Unfortunately, I don't really think she liked me before and I don't really think she likes me now. She isn't really excited about the whole situation. My engagement party is Saturday and she never even acknowledges it. lol (She is coming lol)

I haven't really spoken to her since we got engaged. FH says she is excited, but I dunno. Can't really say I care either. lol

Fh wassooooo sweet before we got engaged. like she wanted me to like her sooo much.. Now not so much. She's very opinionated. Not in a mean way but almost a fake way. Shegave her opinion on the BM dress and emailed me and like every line was like

I like the first one, but thats only my honest opinion and obviously you don't haveto take my opinion.

every line... i wanted to wb and be like obviously!

She is a little bit of a nervous nelly, but other than that she is fine, and she like me better than her daughter in law, so that is always a plus!!!!!!! LOL
