So to kind of go along with yesterdays question, have any of you thought about kiddies? Like how many kids to you think you want and when do you think you want to start trying?
I know it may be an early thought for some of us, but its not THAT far away. I’d like to make sure that I have my masters or are a couple classes away from having it, otherwise I know I’ll never be able to finish it. FH and I would also like to make sure he moves up to manager at work, and for him to have his masters, he should have is CPA by then, so I think we’ll be ok. In reality I’d love to have a honeymoon baby, but I think we’re too young, and I want to be settled in our house. So maybe we’ll do some traveling our first year, and then start trying. Who knows………

We hope to be ready for kids after 2-3 years, we'll both be 23 when we get married so we wont rush into it, but we both want to be younger parents. My goal is by 27 to have a kid.

Neither of us has any desire for children so there are no plans. If I change my mind in the future (he can go either way so that's easy), I would only want 1.

i agree, fh and i will almost be/just be 25, his birthday is a few weeks before the wedding and mine is a few weeks after, so no need to rush, but we'd both love to be young parents. we just have to make sure we are financially ready.

i want 4, fh wants 3. we both want to be young parents, since your parents were both married young and had us young (my mom was 24, dad was 27). but we both want to enjoy being married first, so hopefully after 2 years were going to start trying.

see FH is already 31 and will be 32 when we get married... however I will be 26 turning 27 when we get married, so it's not like i don't have time to do it.. (physically) so.... we are thinking wait at least a year and then maybe go for it!

Fh doesn't care when we have kids because he's 27, but i'm only 22 so i def. want to wait till i'm atleast 26. I want 2 or 3 kids.

I want 2 or 3 kids. I think I want to start trying about 2 years after the wedding. I want to give us time to get settled and financially ready.

I'll be 27 when we get married, but FH will be 32, we want to have kids with in a year of getting married, like I would love to be pregnant with our first one on our 1st anniversary. We want three children. Children are such a blessing, so we are praying we have a large healthy family.

Good morning!
I'd love children, but I'm just changing career directions now and headed to nursing school. I'll graduate with my BSN in 2010 and I'd like to be stable in my career before we head down that path. I see us having children within 5 years' time.

We'll be 25 and 27 when we get married, so probably 28-30 when we have kids.

We want kids but we want 1st to have a house and be settle in our careers and enjoy our marriage.. I am only child and I dont want my kid to be alone so I want 2 and FH want 3.. I think we are going to wait like 5 yrs to have kids

i want 2 kids, he wants 3 (FH has 1 brother and 1 sister) so naturally he wants to recreate his childhood.....no kids till i'm 30 though.....i still want to travel some more before we're all tied down!

I will be 30 when we get married (a few months away to 31) and FH will already be 31, so we would like to try after the wedding. I am going off the pill the month after the wedding or that month depending on the date. So we hope to start trying by Sept. 09. If it happens before great, if not we will keep trying. We would like Irish Twins and hopefully a girl then boy. It is how both our families are. That is the plan but it can always change. I don't see us having more than 3 children.

we both want many kids..like 4!!!! But i still have to finish my school and geta house!!!!!!!!! Travel to Italy, Paris ( in march YEY)...Russia , Portugal, Hawaii, etc..hehe..and then ..have kids...i want to enjoy my life with him just the two of us for a little!!!!! heheh

Well we are getting Married in May and hoping to make a Christmas 09 announcement ...... that's what FH thinks and wants....I asked if we could wait a year or two to enjoy being newlyweds...he wants the bun in the oven right away...
I would say 1 , if you ask him he would say 3

I don't know. I am so afraid to have kids. FH wants two or three! I wish he could be the one to get pregnant so I don't have to deal with the stuff that women go through. I know I am crazy but the process of actually giving birth scares me. I would love to adopt but FH wants his own. So, our agreement is by the time we are 30....
