Scents, no doubt. WHen I smell cinnamon and nutmeg I am so brought back to Chrsitmas morning as a kid....

the cold weather. Nothing makes me happier than bundeling up and going outside... Especially this Saturday for the holiday lights parade

I just love lighting a fireplace and sitting in fromt of it while staring at the twinkle lights of the tree and drinking Earl grey tea. (I'm such a geek)!!!!!!

I love the smells as well, and the music. We always played the standards, first on our record player and then when they FINALLY made those records into cds (I think they skipped the tape generation). The smells and music are what I hope to carry on with my NEW family!

Getting passed the materialism and helping the less fortunate. With the help of my World History class we filled 24 shoeboxes filled with goodies and toiletries for the soldiers in Iraq as part of Operation Shoebox.

Watching my daughter exclaim over every little thing. This is her first real Christmas (she's almost 3). It brings back all of the excitement I used to feel about this time of year. Now I get to live it all over again through my baby.
