HAHA I'm early So since I am seeing my wedding dress this afternoon...
Tell us about your wedding dress! What Silhouette did you choose? What shade of white? What designer? Where from? Do you have a train? Is the back open? What made you fall in love with it? And What do you plan on doing with it afterward?
I chosed a Simone Carvalli Trumpet gown with Swavorski Crystals on the bodice and at the knee, a chapel train, very low back and creamy, ivory white. I got it from Bridal Reflections. I fell in love with it when i saw it in Brides mag, and I loved it even more when it was on. It just felt like it was made for me.
Afterward, I think I will perserve my dress and keep it for my little girl...

Mine is a Maggie Sottero. I origianlly saw it in a bridal magazine. It is a ball gown with a very long train it is very dramatic!! Lots of beading and diffrent layers. It is tafetta in diamond white!!
I absolutley love it!! it literally took my breath away when I saw it in person!

i can't disclose too much as I am keeping it a secret from everyone except my mom and my sister who were with me when I found it.
It's gorgeous and very different. It feels like a 1000 layers of deliciousness. It is sweetheart A line strapless and off white. beading embrodery and a train.
I am so in love with it. It's in the Pronovias line but nowhere to be found on the website! WHich is a good thing.

I don't have mine yet either, I'll probably start looking in a couple of months.
HOWEVER, I plan to go strapless, either full A-Line or a Ball Gown. I want a cathedral train, as my church has one of the longest aisles around, and I want lots of beading and definitely swarovski crystals. Probably either a tie -up or button down back as well.
Basically when people ask, I tell them that when I sit down in it, I want to be swallowed by the dress (which won't be hard since I'm only 4'11' )

I was going to go with one gown but really really disliked it in person. It did not look the way it looked online and it was way too much for my petite body. So I tried on a different dress which is COMPLETELY different from the original one... it's a Lazaro - Couture Collection and it is all hand beaded (and lots and lots of beads)... but that is all I will disclose as I have family lurking on this site and I want it to be a surprise!!! But I am absolutely in loveee with it.

well i just posted mine since i got it yesterday...
but mine is La Sposa (Provonias line). It is strapless with a 'soft' mermaid/trumpet style....all lace and beautiful beading. I originally wanted a longer train but this dress only has a sweep train...but the aisle at my RH is so short that I don't think the longer train is necessary

I fell in love with an Alfred Angelo dress years ago only to find out it was discontinued buttttttttt thanks to the internet i was able to find it.
It is an a-line and i believe the front is a sweetheart. it has a lot of floral/metallic detail on it. oh and its white. i just love it to death. its hiding in my sisters house. best part is i paid $125 for it. i really couldnt see myself spending $1k on a dress i was only going to wear once. but thats me.
i have no idea what im going to do with it after the wedding.

just went looking yesterday. probably going a-line or mermaid. i like the lacey-antique look. but so far what i tried on made me feel like a big doiley. so who knows.
i know i definately want a shrug/sleeve thing that i can wear in church and then take off for reception, like WHOA HOLLER. hahahaha

my dress is white, train is very long, it has alot going on, on the top with beads. the back is open and shaped as a heart. when i saw this dress i told my mom i need this. tried it on and loved it even more. and i bought it

Its made by Ines Di Santo and its ivory. Its a sweetheart neckline, italian silk taffeta (the material is gorgeous!) and just a little beading.

i didnt get mine yet,
but i LOVE maggie sottero gowns
the style i want is sweetheart neckline, dropped waist, corset back, full gown (not huge ballgown like poufy but full) long train, nice beadwork/crystals, and cap sleeves, the sheer ones that just go over the shoulders
oh, and white :)
im definitely going to preserve it, and i may have my first daughter's christening outfit made out of it (cuz times and styles change so much when it comes to wedding dresses) and i will save some of my dress also to make the ring bearer pillow out of for her wedding, or to wrap her boK, something like that

Its the dress of my dreams!! its Platinum Priscilla of Boston in a creamy ivory with a tulle and satin abodice, button down all the way down the back up the train, chapel length train, and its a lot bigger than in those pics with the slip i have lolol

Haven't started looking yet. Since, this is my second marriage, it wouldn't be a ballgown that I know.
