HAHA I'm early So since I am seeing my wedding dress this afternoon...
Tell us about your wedding dress! What Silhouette did you choose? What shade of white? What designer? Where from? Do you have a train? Is the back open? What made you fall in love with it? And What do you plan on doing with it afterward?
I chosed a Simone Carvalli Trumpet gown with Swavorski Crystals on the bodice and at the knee, a chapel train, very low back and creamy, ivory white. I got it from Bridal Reflections. I fell in love with it when i saw it in Brides mag, and I loved it even more when it was on. It just felt like it was made for me.
Afterward, I think I will perserve my dress and keep it for my little girl...

i haven't gotten my dress yet. i do want one that has some sort of straps, i hate strapless. i also want one that has a little splash of color in it.

I want mine to be an a-line, ivory, strapless, with some beading and design to it. I don't want anything over the top. I just want it to be elegant looking

My dream dress was going to be all lace with a sweatheart neckline and a decent sized train. I also wanted a cathedral veil with NO piping! I bought the exact opposite! The only thing I remained true to was the style, which is trumpet.
My dress is a Lazaro 2009 dress so I did not see it until I went dress shopping for the first time @ his trunk show. It's ivory beaded and embroidered tulle trumpet gown, jeweled appliqué at empire bust, flowers cascade down back of skirt, modified chapel train. The veil is fingertip with ivory piping.
DID NOT EXPECT TO BUY A DRESS!! I knew it was the one when I put it on and did not want to take it off. Lazaro, himself Loved it so I knew it was a keeper!

I dont have mine yet...but i want an a-line strapless dress...I want some beading but shawn likes plain...and i want a super hot pair of heels...not my fault he will be shorter than me lol he can get some lifts on his shoes.
I plan on preserving it (even if it will look like a random dead body in a box) and then maybe giving to it my daughter to use to make her wedding dress out of it.
This reminded me that I wanted to ask my mother about her dress...thanks for the reminder!!

Mines is an ivory strapless sweetheart beaded lace mermaid. It has a sweep train and I am so in love with because it has lace and is very classic. I have said this before, but this dress made me feel very womanly (I'm on the petite side and this dress does the trick)

I can remember the name of my wedding designer but its a strapless off white ball gown with crystals on the waist. I love it. Afterwards I will preserve it for my little girl! hopefully i get a little girl!

well i just posted mine since i got it yesterday...
but mine is La Sposa (Provonias line). It is strapless with a 'soft' mermaid/trumpet style....all lace and beautiful beading. I originally wanted a longer train but this dress only has a sweep train...but the aisle at my RH is so short that I don't think the longer train is necessary
ok so scratch this...since many of u saw on my other post today i am having major doubts...i may end up with a new dress
