QOTD: What is the craziest thing someone you work with has done while at work?

At DH's last company (the owners were party animals themselves) they allowed the programmers to tell an account executive that she had a 'meeting'. Instead, they surprised her with a midget stripper for her birthday! They said the stripping was so funny! But the guy also had a heart condition and said he had to stop stripping every few minutes b/c it was too much strain on his heart!

a coworker who got a breast reduction pulling up her shirt every day to show everyone the scars

well, at our retirement party one of my co-workwers was out on the dancefloor, and stripped down to his underwear

At a former job (for a well-known college) we had a departmental golf cart to get us around campus quickly, well one evening one of the guys who worked for us decided to take the golf cart down to the local bar and park it out front! Public Safety drove by, saw the cart and hauled his butt back to campus. He got demoted, and I got his job!

I used to work in an office where we'd have 'Casino Night' once a year. The bosses would take everyone out gambling... and they used to hold contests where they'd give out chips to use at Casino night. Some of the competitions were 'who could do the most cartwheels down the hallway', 'who could do aerobics for the longest without stopping', etc. It was SO much fun! This is also the place where a stripper was hired for a lady's 60th birthday... that was great.

It's no surprise the business went under a few years later, right?

Oh boy... I was a bar manager in a 'gentleman's club'....so I have a ton of stories.....

NOT many of which I can repeat here.

A kinda funny one...one of our head bouncers was having a problem with a dancer, she refused to go on stage for her set b/c she was being wined & dined by some customer & was afraid he would leave if she went on stage. The bouncer tried to convince her & even tried to bribe her to go up, but she was being a real b!@tch. Finally she said, 'If you need someone up on stage, then you go.' HE said...'Fine, how about we both go up on stage & we play 'horse'.....you do a pole trick, I do a pole trick, if I win at athe end, you stay up on stage for the rest of the night...if you win, you can stay off stage all night.' So the two of them get up on stage and this 6'7' - 320lb bouncer is doing the best pole tricks I ever saw...the crowd was going crazy! He even climbed to the top (which was about 25 feet off the stage) and came down upside down & spinning by his feet......it was hilarious...needless to say he won & she quit that night!

I always wndered how he knew how to do all those tricks

Friday evenings are our weekly review meetings or as we call it happy hour. my boss keeps the lab refrigerator stocked with wine and beer. The bud's are right near the brains!

We used to have a really wacky girl who worked in our office. She did all sort of strange things like take people's lunch and going shopping during the afternoon
(after her lunch break). She used to keep stuffed animals at her desk and she had one of those neck pillows that had feet attached to them, they looked like woody woodpecker's legs. Anyway, in the middle of a training class she left and got the legs, put them around her neck and brought her toys in to play with. Needless, to say the entire class was hysterical and we had to take a break from class to compose ourselves.

that is a daily occurence here in fact, my co-worker actually saw someone doing the deed here in an office the other day after hours.

I have so many....i guess my worst that i can recall is when a receptionist we had came to me and threatened that if he got fired he would commit suicide....and while he is saying this he is shaking and has a nose bleed...that was a crazy day. I can't think of any funny ones. But lemme think...

OH I got one, my coworkers and I hated our old boss. Our boss was very uptight and proper so in our weekly meeting, my friend told me that she wanted to tell our boss she had 'explosive diarrhea' that morning - and guess what - she did tell her! In front of our dept She was a lunatic. I almost died trying not to laugh. You should have seen my boss's face - she was like 'oh, i'm sorry t o hear that '

Let me preface this with the fact I KNOW it is not funny to say someone died who didn't, but this was just TOO Hysterical!!! And in my line of work, we need to keep a sense of humor!!


I am a funeral director... so one morning I am watching my boss scribble furiously on a pad information about a new funeral we have..... I see him fax it then pick up the phone & call our other office. He tells the manager there that it is VERY important that he not talk about this new funeral to ANYONE who may call.... he tells him Ralph Macchio died suddenly at his parents house Great River. He needed to call the medical examiner & confirm when we could get him..... well when he called , the very nice lady in medical records went into a panick! She thought they had lost a body of a famous person!!!

I never would think my boss would be like this!!! We still laugh about it now!!
