QOTD- What is the 'sappiest' 'chickiest' flick you've ever forced your fh to sit through?

I really don't bother...I think maybe Much Ado About Nothing...I once TRIED to get him to watch the Bridges of Madison County...he refused to sit in the same ROOM with me LOL

everything else, he just uses that as 'nap' time LOL. I NEVER force him to go to the movies for that kind of stuff....if he's going to hate it, I'd rather not be made miserable too!

anyway, I ask b/c tonight we may go see our first and only true 'date' flick AT the movies, Failure to Launch!

Hmmm, I have to say my husband LOVED 'The Notebook' so much so that he asked me to rent it so we could watch it again. Maybe it was the southern charm that got him.

But he normally hates chick flicks and I end up watching them alone.

Girl Interrupted. He took me for my birthday a few years ago. It was actually a horrible movie. But he was sweet to sit thorough it.

I cannot believe that NOBODY put STEEL MAGNOLIAS down! If ever there was a tear jerker of a movie, it would have to be that one or TERMS OF ENDEARMENT. I guess Shirley Maclaine factor would do it!

I would say the 'Titanic'...poor thing had like 5 cigarette breaks during this 2 1/2 hour movie...but this was at the beginning of our relationship so he would do ANYTHING for me...now, he'll agree to watch a chick flick with me but will doze off 15 minutes into the movie...ahhh....men....

OMG that's right! we went to see Titanic the night it came out...NO ONE was in the theatre, I remember that- it didn't blow up until a week later.

Ah, Walking Tall, i suffered through that one too, FH was snoring next to me, but at the end of it woke up and proceeded to tell me all about the original version of the movie as well

On our second date, we went to a movie with nicole kidman, cant remember the name of it, but i think we were both embarrassed when there was a scene where she was in the bathtub with a child who was supposedly the spirit of her dead husband....wow, what a long and awkward movie that was.....
