QOTD: What knives do you use for cooking?

From my registry, I received the J.A. Henkels (which my husband had a good laugh about when I use to call the brand JA henkels 'JA Rule' lololo) eversharp set.

IT ***** - EVERY KNIFE WAS SERATED!

so when I returned them I saw that there were other knife sets from Wustof which was a lot of money for about 5 knives :(

I just want a good set with a boning knife - which do you guys recommend?

Costco had a good set from J.A. Henkels that was called classic.

We registered for the same knives and I just returned them last week. they were horrible! I have a $15 set of knives that were better than these. they were so hard to clean and they didn't really cut that well.

I brought them back to B,B&B and they were very accommodating! I exchanged them for the Sabatier Loire set that was the same price. so far they're great! my DH likes this set a LOT better.

To be honest, I would have loved to get the Wustof knives, but I couldn’t justify adding another $200 – they’re just knives. All I need is for them to cut well and wash well.

this is the set we got

My cousin sent me a set from England, I forgot what they're called, but they're made in Germany!
They're wonderful!

I have JA Henckels steak knives that I love. I didn't get a set for general cooking yet. Maybe I'll reconsider the Henckels ones, since you had a problem.
